I'm kind of struggling with how to convert the D&D 3.5 feat Zen Archery. It allows you to use your Wis instead of Dex to hit with a bow. Converting it as is-is, I see it looks pretty weak compared to Martial Arts or Lore of the Stars. One idea I had was that it might substitute your Resolve (Wis) for your attack bonus a number of times per scene equal to your Ranged Combat feats, but I can't think of any other feat that offers just a trick. As a complicating factor, Weapon Finesse became a weapon property, not a feat, although Martial Arts still substitutes Wis for Str/Str with unarmed attacks.

I'm also wondering whether alternative approaches might work better. Archer Philosopher as an expert class? Path of the Bow?

Cunning (if memory serves) Shot in Practice Makes Perfect.

It's an advanced trick that let's you use Wisdom in place of Dexterity, as long as you have a Dex of 13.

Cunning shot is of course a trick, which has it's own problems compared to the DnD Zen Archery.  You could make a follow up feat to martial arts that lets you use the attribute chosen for weaponry you have a forte in.  That way you could zen archery machine gun enemies.
