Self-Destruct. Find out if there's a self-destruct and absolutely figure out how to either neutralize it or make it "us access only".

I think as long as you've got the two steps of "the computer sees us as friends, and everyone else as enemies (or at least as non-entities)" then we're covered. I assume that includes whatever bots are connected to the network, which means we can probably start sowing mayhem right away by labeling everyone but us as intruders. You've mentioned camera access, and that's a good deal, too.

As you deal with the IFF feeds, that should secure us here, allowing Hondo to respond downstairs if shit starts, since you're in a room full of laser equipped bots that think Alice and Elsie are their twin pleather-clad mistresses.

Hondo will take this opportunity to sit Bernie quietly in a chair. Once Alice mumbles triumphantly about how she's got the security mastered, Hondo will quietly spend an action die to render Bernie dead (unless smothering him quietly can be done without an action die, in which case I totally do that instead--I've got a minute or two, after all). We don't need him if we've got the computer, and he's needed killing for several weeks of real time. Maybe we should have called him Osama. Wink

Alice really does not want to explode this place.  Taking it over would be her choice, though she is concerned that the bots would need some help keeping it running.

And as a Jim commentary to Alice's opinion:  Not all of these folks are so far gone down the Enclave path that they cannot be reformed.  There isn't much we can do about the way higher ups, and the vivisection crew, but we don't need to have the automated security systems liquidate/chunkfy everyone.

Antilles? Bill? What you up to downstairs? That'll go down way before Alice gets done upstairs.

Indeed. It's all you two guys for at least the next two or three minutes, which could last an eternity. Smiley

I suggest more quiet hostage taking (or quiet "knock people out" action), as Alice won't have security control right off the bat, and we don't need anybody pressing the panic button. But that's just me.

Just outta curiosity, what would activating that error give me? I'm kinda tempted to toss an AD at it, but it might end up being overkill...

She'll cooperate until the end of the scene, even when out of sight.

Well done, Frank and Marcus. We now have a cooperative tour guide.  Smiley By the time you have her explain what this complex is and what the Enclave is doing here, Alice should have the computer systems bent to her will, and then it'll be time to drop the hammer on some people.

First things first--give us the caps and drugs. Spoken like a true wastelander. I salute you, Antilles.   Grin

At least this isn't shadowrun. I had a group who were attacked by corp goons. After killing them not only did they fence off their gear, they also sold the bodies to organleggers.

I was once part of a D&D party that had LOTS of bags of holding. They put EVERYTHING into them, including dead monsters and broken furniture. They sold the dead monsters to a Gnoll tribe for food. They also sold the broken furniture as cheap firewood. 1 copper piece per kg of weight. We used the money to hire a bunch of mercenaries and robbed a bunch of money lenders. We were filthy fucking rich. The DM changed us to Neutral Evil eventually.

For the record:  Alice is not unnaturally attracted to this fully armed and operational battle station.

Who said anything about armed?  Roll Eyes

OTOH, you never did visit the flight deck, did you?

Something about a test fire.   Tongue
"TEST-FIRING SUCCESSFUL. WE ARE NOW FULLY OPERATIONAL."
And no, we skipped the flight deck.  Too many people on those.

I'll point out at this stage that Hondo's Light encumbrance range goes to just over 250 pounds, and his Medium range band clears 525. Summoning Hondo to carry stuff Marcus wants to have but doesn't want to carry is fine with me.  Smiley

Just sayin'.

As for clearing out, by the time the kids are secure and any other lab goons are dealt with I think Alice will have control of the whole enchilada from right here, which should be exciting if we're mobile when it happens.

Heh, I want all of it.  If we DID just take off, I have this eerie feeling this thing is going to crash before we are done here and this will be some good medical gear going to waste.

I had thought about giving you a call, but given that the shit has just hit the fan, I am not sure of our time-frame.  If it we end up having a chance to load it up, I am all for it.

For future information, if we can get the chance, there was 330 pounds of medical kits of which we have 50 loaded.
