I guess we'll need a radio to call back, some food and clean water.

You pip-boy radios are better than anything that the Republic has. That said, their range is limited to around 1 mile, thanks to 'atmospheric ionization'.

How much food and water do you want, and in what form?

It's hard to talk numbers when we haven't seen the maps.

Presumably, the people in the Brotherhood know where their base is and how to get to it better than we do.

Consulting with Jim, will we be able to resupply at the BoS base or do we need to make sure we have enough to make the trek both ways?  How long will it take us to get there and what kind of route?  Can we walk the whole way, or will we need a boat?  Are we going to need to pay for a boat for which we need to bring sufficient money?

Agreed. We need Jim to tell us about the trip before we can intelligently ask for gear.

I'll add details when i'm able. Summer holiday tends to stop me doing much of anything other than glorified babysitting.

So, summer holiday is finally over. Who's up for a trip to West Point?

It sounds like we are heading to Tarrytown to try and broker a deal for a boat.  Does Ny City have anything of value that is light enough for us to carry they'd be willing to let us trade away for a boat?

What are you prepared to carry? Thay have plenty of trade goods. Will you need a Brahmin? They can part with quite a lot if it means saving their entire way of life...
