That is the worst redesign I have ever seen (at the very least certainly the worst I can recall).  If I wasn't told, my first guess would not be Harley.

See, I can kinda see Harley in that. But the guy in the background? How is that Deadshot?

DC Comics which has seen its market size and readership totals shrink over the years, has finally figured out how they are going to increase its sales. They are out on their DCnU roadshow and are saying that “new readers” they are targeting are males 18-34.

They are spending countless millions and burning through their store of good will to try and sell more to the exact same people they have been trying to sell to for the last decade with diminishing success.

I suppose having some characters that people would like to sit down and have a beer with while being regaled of crazy tales is out of the question?

That'd be nice.

When did good things happening to characters, and characters being nice instead of unrelentingly grim douches, stop being a thing?

Schadenfreude doesn't sell as many comics as they seem to think?

When bad, self-entitled writers horribly misinformed on what makes a story "mature" took over the men-in-tights industry.  We won't even get started on the misplaced nostalgia.

I dunno. The cover kinda makes sense if you're rebooting the Green Lantern story.
