Possible website issue?

Just an FYI.  When I log in on the main page, crafty-games.com, the log in isn't carrying over to the Forums.  Not sure if it's just me or not, just wanted to give you a heads up.  Not a huge deal, I just log back in @ the forums.

I got the same thing as well. Maybe the site and the forums are going through different authentication servers?

That said, I've signed in to both and it doesn't seem to be giving me any further problems.

Happens to me too - except I have to sign into both each time I visit the page.

This is an issue with our bridging program, which connects the login processes of the forums with the main site. We'll look into it.

Could you guys try it again please? try logging out of both sites and then logging on the way you normally would (on the main crafty-games.com site, not in the forum, correct?).

It was set so the forum was the login 'master' instead of the main site. I'm hoping switching that fixed it. Thanks.

Edit: Hmmn.. that may have broken it the other way now.

Edit too: Meh.. must be something else. Still seems broken.

I get the following notifications and errors when I log into the main site.

The selected file /var/www/vhosts/crafty-games.com/httpdocs/forum/attachments/avatar_147.png  could not be uploaded, because the destination /var/www/vhosts/crafty-games.com/httpdocs/files/pictures/picture-137.png  is not properly configured.

and

Data picture => files/pictures/picture-137.png, for dragon synced to Drupal.

Here's one.  From the the "Recent Unread Topics" page (http://www.crafty-games.com/forum/?action=unread).  Clicked on "MARK AS READ" button, and go the following message: "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again."

Yea, I am still seeing it.  It only occurs when I first log in, not when I return to the home page when already logged in.

Before the changeover, the site used to always keep me logged in.  That is to say it may have been an issue before but I never saw it as I didn't have to log in before the changeover.

it may be some problem with the avatar itself.  Sometime when it isn't 2:30 AM I'll try to reset my avatar and see if that helps.

Hey guys,

FunkMonkey seems to have found the issue (URLs weren't matching exactly). I'm having better luck myself, and I've turned off avatar and sig synchronization to hopefully make things easier. We have a fallback position if it continues to be troublesome, but your login issues *should* be fixed now.

Unfortunately I am still seeing it.  Also, I tried to change my avatar in my account to see if that would clear it up, but I got errors trying to change the avatar and it wouldn't let me do it:

I've redisabled synchronization. It's possible you're running into permissions issues to execute the upload of your avatar, as Funk re-locked down parts of the forum (which is a PITA with these sorts of things)
