Any news on if there's going to be a fantasy craft section in any of the role playing magazines out there these days?

Which ones, specifically?

Any will do...I haven't read anything since dungeon and dragon stopped being published ;
and from what I see most of them deal with dnd(in any of its forms) nowadays.
So I wonder if there's something generic about rpgs with most alternative systems to dnd(ie GURPS) and mainly FantasyCraft ..

Kobold Quarterly might be a good fit.

I ask partly to see if you know of any I haven't seen.  Wink

We've been in talks with KQ and hopefully we'll get something in there eventually. There are a couple other candidates but not many, and as with S&P when we were with Mongoose it's all about balancing the labor involved in an article vs. the same labor involved in new product. You'll see some periodic pieces, and we'll promote them here or through our feed when they arrive, but a regular section probably isn't in the cards.

Up until now, i didn't realise that the S&P articles would be gone without mongoose. Fast i'm not... were there any articles in the making?

Now to get Wolfgang to write an adventure powered by FC.

Some. We've found new homes for most of them. The rest will see release once we figure out where they're best used.

I was thinking KQ but then I noticed its mainly 4th and 3.5e...

FantasyCrafty deserves the attention; by the planes it deserves a monthly column!

..got carried away there for a sec...
Mr Baur writing an FC module would be a delight..I hope it does come to fruition
Very well then,I await with enthusiasm for any news regarding this

You know what might make a cool article / segment in a future book?  A little step by step on making the game your own.  Stuff like making changes beyond campaign qualities, changing iconic classes and specialities, maybe modifying rules for Reviled based on cultural ties [Ogres might not be reviled by Orcs for instance].  Add that to some quality world building advice, maybe a few more improvising tips, and you could have something solid.

But maybe this isn't the place for that kind of suggestion?

That's exactly the reason I want FC in those magazines(apart from some self satisfying need to see my favorite system so far getting some attention)
