New teaser trailer out for the film WhiteOut starring Kate Beckinsale and Gabriel Macht.

Huh. They must have held all the promos back because I saw that at Comic-Con last year.

Good-lookin' flick though. I really dig Dark Castle. They (generally) make movies I groove to.

For those of you who thought Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus looked like a bad movie, behold Shark in Venice.

Warning: Contains worse CG than Wolverine: Origins, bad stock footage, and Stephen Baldwin... as the lead character.

That was awesome - so so bad it demands a Sci-Fi (excuse me, SyFy) viewing in the background when I'm writing something atrocious. Be afraid. Be very, very afraid. Wink

Wow, that looks fantastic. Thanks for the heads up!

And since we're doing Apocalypse Show and Tell today, the 2012 site has the new official trailer. WARNING: This one shows of a lot of the plot. The last tidal wave sequence is pretty hot, though.

So I've just got back from watching Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

It was entertaining and was fun to watch. However, there are noticeable pacing issues with the movies. It's too long in places and too short in others. There was a moment about 2 hours into the movie where I found myself wondering how long is left in the movie. My little brother, who I took to see it as he loves transformers, said that it was a lot like national treasure. Never seen National Treasure so I don't know.

Despite the pacing issues, I still recommend it to see. If nothing else there's lots of eye candy in the forms of Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas.

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.

Looks like a good cast for 2012. Having Cusak and Eijifor (sp) will mean that my gf will want to see it, too Tongue

USA Today has posted some concept art for Tim Burton's Wonderland. There are also images of three of the film's characters (The Mad Hatter, and the Red and White Queens).
