A possible positive side of it is that the Scott brothers (Ridley & Tony) are angling to buy MGM. It would be a bonanza if they did and you know that Bond would be at the top of their list to greenlight.


Not to mention the Hobbit films.

Actually MGM's other big franchise is Stargate (Sg-1, Atlantis, Universe) and the TV show would be able to continue without worry.

The trailer for the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society's adaptation of the Whisperer in Darkness. If you haven't seen any of these movies by the HPLHS and are a Lovecraft fan I would suggest checking them out. I have most of the releases and they are heads and shoulders above any adaptation that hollywood has ever done, IMO.
