Hello Gang,

The response to OSF has been terrific and there have been a LOT of downloads of the Heroes as well, so we thought.

Why not have a contest and see what you guys come up with?

The skinny is we want them set up as seen in OSF: Heroes, deadline is April 15th, and winning entries get a prize!

Visit our site for full details.

Regards,

Sean

Any restrictions on the eras the character can incorporate?

Not that I can think of, but I'm sure you're about to blow my mind. Tell me what you're thinking about. Color me intrigued. Smiley

I got half way through putting together a Pech Burglar before realising that there was already one in the Heroes Pack Roll Eyes

Luckily, I have a few backup ideas.

Am I the only person having issues with the pdf having a stack of attachments and not more than one page?  (I'm using Foxit Reader, not Adobe, for the record.  It could be me.)

Hiya!

Essentially, you have to have Adobe 8.0 or greater because of the way it's packaged to retain the form fillable qualities.

We talk about it on this thread here: http://www.crafty-games.com/forum/index.php?topic=3726.0

Apologies for the inconvenience.

I also seem to have problems with it, oddly it displays some characters but not others (I think I've not managed to look at about 3 of them). Using a freshly downloaded copy of Adobe Reader (9.3 I think or is it 9.0.3 - definately a 3 in there) or Adobe Standard 9.

If you could let us know which ones it does NOT render properly, that'd be a big help. AFAIK, this is the first issue that I've heard of since the clarification re: Adobe version. I will have my guys look into this, once you get the info to us.

Thanks,

Glint, Perry, Silas & Garam won't open. You click on it and there's an open button, but it just says:
"There was an error opening this document. The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."

Version is Adobe pro 9.0.0 or Adobe Reader 9.1.0 (don't know where I got the 3 from, might have been on my work laptop).

Might just be my machine playing up, it's long overdue for a wipe/reload so it occaisionally does funny things. I've got no immediate need for these, but since MilitiaJim posted up an issue I thought I'd mention it. Obviously it works for other people, so I'll probably have a play around with it when I get some time (and I'm not distracted with filling my scant free time with Dragon Age or Game Prep.

Oh and I've tried downloading from both your own site and DriveThruRPG, and it does the same thing.

All of them work fine on my laptop, both in Acrobat 9.3 and NitroPDF 6.0.1.8.

EloiseCartwright,

Lemme know how it goes after you resurrect your PC. I know mine did some really weird stuff awhile back before I did "the Purging".

We'll hang loose and see if any other issues pop up, I think (sadly for you) that this may just be an isolated incident.

Regards,

Sean
