Wasn't sure where to drop this.. SC 2.0, 3, off topic... however..

Social Engineering: The Art of Human Hacking by Christopher Hadnagy.  If a party member or yourself is having a hard time trying to not skullbash his way through everything, this book provides a great source.  Also amazing if you're a psychologist, InfoSec with a focus on PhySec and OpSec, Sociologist, PhySecSpec, OpSecSpec, or just wondering how truly gullible the general human is.

(Toss in The Art of Deception and Intrusion if you really want to get in-depth with some light reading.)

*climbs back into the tree which has kept himself aptly busy for the past half year*  At some point.. I'll post some harrowing tales of LOL and Whiskey Tango Foxtrots from my gaming table.. , and some FC (I rolled a character and was crushed that my Rootwalker Soldier couldn't have an M60...) questions, once the gaming table returns on a more regular basis.

(Btw.  While I quietly stalk the C-G.com in my few spare moments lately.. ...SC3, 10KB and VoS sound great... feel free to have your future you's throw them in time machine to make them get here faster.  Smiley )

Spymaster, by Oleg Kalugin. Author was a KGB officer, eventually a general, and the book is a history of his career in this agency. Good stuff so far.

The above may be conjecture, deliberate paraphrase, or outright bullshit.

Looking for GMs for Ohio Valley conventions. Some danger involved.

I have those two Koala, haven't started to read them yet.  Another one I had, read awhile ago was "Every Spy a Prince", its on the Israel Intelligence community from its inception when the State of Israel was created.  Was an interesting read.  Not sure if its in print any more, it was from the early 90s.

I thought "Killing Pablo" was pretty fascinating stuff. Its about the hunt for Pablo Escobar, the infamous drug cartel boss who basically ran Colombia in the '80s. Aside from the ideas it can give you for big manhunts involving intelligence/law enforcement/military agencies, the details about Escobar's operation and how he eluded capture are great source material for SpyCraft masterminds.
