Help me out guys, I'm in a quandary about what to get in the sale.

I keep looking at these three PDFs:
Afghanistan: D20
Colombia: D20
Somalia: D20
as they all seem like they'd be easily adaptable to use in an SC2.0 game.

I feel like I should have a copy of Fragile Minds, although my current SC game is very reality-rooted (as far as is possible in a world that allows for suitcase nukes, cars that turn into hovercraft, motorbikes with miniguns etc  Wink )

Also a PDF copy of SC2.0 would be nice to have for searching.

Any suggestions would be helpful! And no, I can't afford the lot...

World on Fire and Practice Makes Perfect.

Then Fragile Minds, which does non-cosmic horror too.

Then the Agent X books.

The Big Score, Back to Basics, and the Saturday Morning PDFs are mostly niche works.

Disagree! Only if you use them as intended, both of them have some very strip-mineable-for-personal-use stuff.

I've already got the WoF book, PMP, nearly all the Agent X's (not bothered about FireBrand just yet), The Big Score and all the BFoGs. I've read Back To Basics, didn't like it.

*peeks out from behind his tree*  Psst.  Fragile Minds... awesome sauce.  Big Score, you already have, so I won't FanKoala over it.  Besides that.. I vote Columbia over the other two.  It's not a place of constant media droning (afghan).. and it's hasn't been a focus point of interest since the 80's.  Plus... imaging alien, cocaine smuggling panther / parrot hybrid creatures from outer space plotting to take over the South American drug trade?

I cracked  Sad

I went for the three location PDFs, plus Fragile Minds.

Fragile Minds I can't see an immediate use for, but maybe I'll see about some SpyDelta GreenCraft later in the year, possibly combined with the ProtoDimension Fringe stuff.

The location PDFs seem quite thorough, I'll try and make my sacrifice mean something  Wink by posting some words about them here over the weekend when I've had more chance to go through them.

I use Fragile Minds for every game I run.  Use it for stress of seeing something thats just a little bit wrong.  It doesn't have to be supernatural - death squad activity, mass graves, all the horrible stuff people do to each other can be a source of stress and agent breakdown.  Watch a film like Tears of the Sun, its filled with stuff that fragile minds supports.

Buddy of mine has the Afghanistan book in deadtree form, and it's pretty solid, so I look forward to hearing how the others are.
