Yay, I can almost taste my copy of the book now.  Cheesy

My Spycraft jar will be small again after this though.  Cry

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.

I think I'll have enough money for both books. Yay!

Considering the books have to cross the pond, I wouldn't be suprised...

Though my understanding is that the street dates are worldwide. Guess it will depend on implementation.

Shades of BSG first season all over again. Sad Not to worry, I've already got the money put away. As soon as these drop, I'm picking them up.

Is anything happening re:WoF; or has it simply died?

Take the time to read the thread. There's someone out there in the wilds of europe with a copy of the WoF book. There's still time to go before everyone who wants one can get one, but to answer your question, no, WoF hasn't died.

Not in the least. We're waiting for the final galleys of Second Printing to be approved, at which point both will be released simultaneously. As we've noted in the past, we'll let you know as soon as we know ourselves.

The Wilds of Europe?
Now I'm a bit out in the sticks, but I'd hardly call it the wilds... And Englands links to Europe are a somewhat mixed bag (we're probably closer to the US in a lot of ways than most of Europe).

Huh?  I could be wrong, but last time I checked the English Channel was a lot smaller than the Atlantic Ocean...

Shocked OOOooohhhhh, you were speaking metaphorically.  Got it.

Still, you can hop on a bullet train from England to France, don't think that'd work coming to America....

Tongue in cheek my man, tongue in cheek. Political alignments notwithstanding, the English people are very much more European in attitude than American and this is despite the English being leery of the EU. The whole world is a little bit American because of the massive amount of media that country produces.

Canadians are uniquely qualified to judge these things for rather obvious reasons Cheesy

Fair enough - I'm just a country bumpkin homeboy who's never left the country.
(hmmm, I really should get a passport one of these days)
