Excited for Tron: Legacy? Love Daft Punk?

You'll want to go here. It's fine. I'll wait.

...

That's some sweetness, no?

(The correct answer is YES.)

Daft Punk could be the new Vangelis if they keep doing stuff like this. Pure. Aural. Bliss.

You can also pre-order the soundtrack on the offical site now.

Actually Hans Zimmer to that title back in 1985 with the Black Rain Suite. Now Daft Punk can try and take it from him but it will extremely difficult.

I was talking in terms of existing musical acts who start doing soundtracks after they're already famous. Sure, Zimmer was in The Buggles, but not a lot of people know that. The Oscar for best soundtrack nest year is going to be a tough fight.

That's... very Mass Effect, I think. That's a good thing.

I'm NOT psyched about this movie because i'll never get to see it. I can't take a toddler to the cinema, I can't afford to buy or rent it, and it won't be on tv for years.

I had the same feel - hopefully when ME gets it's film treatment:
A) Won't suck out loud.
B) Will be similiarly scored.

The cinemas near me have parent friendly sessions for all major film releases - might be worth looking into?

That is one really nice soundtrack.

Man that's a spic-y meat-ball! I'm on listen #4 of the day and I think I'm about to fire it up for a fifth round.

The Grid is fantastic, but that Recognizer track, and Arrival, and Adagio... Seriously, there are no bad moments in any of these tracks.  Grin

EDIT: I have my laptop's wallpaper set to swap out every 30 minutes. I just finished the fourth run of Finale and went to my desktop for the first time in a while to grab something and...

There's some good stuff there, but on its own without the visuals it's supposed to interact with, this is running at 50/50 good/meh for me.
