Now, see, for me Judge Dredd (and by extension 2000AD) is a fundamental part of my childhood reading, even more so than any Marvel or DC line. Other a few parts of the story, I thought it was fairly faithful to the feel.

That said, I am excited about this new movie, especially the 'R' rating. Karl Urban is very underrated.

Am I the only person who enjoyed that movie? I mean, it had Hammerstein and Mean in it.

I enjoyed it, but there's only so much Rob Schneider I can take at one time.

Yeah, at the time, stick an over-the-top comedian into a niche movie was, sadly, par for the course.  Which is my main detraction from the D&D movie.

Well, who was the obvious comic in the Batman reboots, Iron Man movies, or The Incredible Hulk?

I wasn't just referring to superhero movies, y'know... it seems like every other film these days has some asshole like Dane Cook in it for comedy 'relief'.

No hes a very good actor..I really liked him in R.E.D. among other projects.
Armand Assante is really underrated but he was directed towards such an over the top performance in Dredd that you can almost forget that he was ever good...

Looks like something from the deepest oceans mixed with the body of Aceria and strapped on a cricket.
Somebody call a superhero xenobiologist...

PS: I'm intrigued.Maybe it reminds me of M.Moorcock's gallery of monsters
