Just finished watching Percy Jackson and the Olympiains: The Lighting Thief.

Pretty servicable. Nice effects. I liked the presntation of Olypus (I'll take my God of War ]I[ now, thank you very much). The defenders of the second pearl were very entertaining and the casino was great fun.

Good enough to make me consider reading the books.

Good enough to make me consider reading the books.

My missus had the same thought after watching the movie today. Sadly, there were two whole books left at the local book store (both of a later title).

I'm not sure whether I want to refer to the movie as Clash of the Teen Titans or Percy and the Juniornauts, but I did enjoy it. There were a couple of things that bugged me*, but it was very much worth watching.

Steve Coogan was, once again, hilarious.

One non-spoiler thing for Percy Jackson - stay for the start of the credits, at least until the main cast has rolled by. There is an additional bonus scene there.

I didn't read the spoilery parts. They're pretty clearly labeled. Smiley

The theme park and related marketing stuff, though, is interesting to me, and I thought some other folks might want to read all of it.

The Tron Legacy Facebook Page is running a series of countdown images to the trailer's release - in three days, presumably in front of Alice in Wonderland.

Prince of Persia Official Trailer #2: Some days I miss working on LBS more than others.

Bill Murray on Dave Letterman, talking about Ghostbusters III: "This is my nightmare."

Does anyone else find it odd/disturbing Mr Murray's wearing a right-foot boot on his left foot in that?

Oh, and time to play more Prince of Persia. Hoping that one stays as good as it looks Smiley.

Yeah, it does look like that, but that may just be the design of the boot.

Yeah, it does look like that, but that may just be the design of the boot.

Why does he even need a boot if the surgery was on his knee? Shouldn't the knee be braced instead?

It's Murray and the whole thing was just a running gag. It still made me chuckle.
