Ridley Scott's protege Carl Rinsch will direct 47 Ronin.  I've seen a few of his commercials, and they are fantastic, and I'm very interested in seeing what he can do with a larger project.  It has Keanu Reeves as a star, which is...odd...  He was going to direct Aliens, but studio pressure stoped that from happening.

Predators Trailer

Freida Pinto (and possibly Olivia Williams) cast in Bond 23 Grin (this story is Pat-approved)

In related news, MGM may soon find its long-awaited new home

Chris Evans offered Captain America

Monster Squad Remake Coming

New Kick-Ass Trailer

Megamind Trailer (this one's new to me - looks like it might be fun)

Les Adventures Extraordinaires D'Adèle Blanc-Sec Trailer (another one that's new to me - the trailer's in French and mildly NSFW but the flick's directed by Luc Besson and as expected, all kinds of amazing)

A mate of mine saw it just reciently [got a prerelease ticket] and said it was even better then the trailers make it look - he described it as Mystery Men meets Sin City.

God I wish I spoke french.  Will definately see this.

I for one will not be disappointed if this comes to pass.  I'd prefer him then most of the other ones that I've heard were screen tested.

Of the ones that were thrown out there as possibles... he was the most tolerable. I would have preferred to have seen Mark Valley as Captain America, but alas that was not meant to be.

I agree on Mark Valley ... 10 yrs ago it would have been his to lose ... especially if you watch Human Target.

At the end of 2010 a restored version of Metropolis is being released to DVD, all but five minutes of the original German release. Until 2008 it was believed that only the American release still existed - having been cut by a quarter from its original 153 minutes. In 2008 a copy of the original, in terrible shape, was recovered from Argentina.

Metropolis is the[/b] original steampunk movie. Dystopian, technophobic, sensuous and brutal. Hopefully they will restore the original, slower, frame rate. If you have not seen it, then it will be well worth looking for the restored version, and if you have, then so much the better.

I am very excited about this, will force my group to watch it.

Jurassic Park 4 confirmed, with bonus stuff about Captain America.

Stark Expo 2010

I think they made a mistake with the music - it should have stayed in '74
