Looks like an interesting film, but one I predict will only be on local screens for a couple of weeks before being moved on in favour of the latest Twihard schlock.

Just watched Avatar (for the first time - got one of those moments when hype gets counterproductive so I decided to sit out and wait for the extended edition blu-ray). Visually impressive fairy tale. 3/5.

The only thing I would have done differently with Tron was save the 3D for the scenes inside the computer.

At the very beginning of the movie as they're zooming in on Flynn's house it's in 3D. I thought it was cool, but unnecessary and detracted from the wow of the grid. YMMV.

It wasn't in 3D. Only the grid was in 3D.

Did my Jeff Bridges double feature on Thursday with "True Grit" and "Tron Legacy". Both were good, but Tron was better of the two, I thought.
