According to the early word, it's almost going to be a reboot/alternate telling, with the story is going to focus on Wolverine's time in Japan.

Based on the post-credit sequence we got after the first Origins movie, it might actually follow the first film.

Score by the Chemical Brothers? Are mainstream bands finally starting to see the value is making music for movies?

Looks like an interesting film, but one I predict will only be on local screens for a couple of weeks before being moved on in favour of the latest Twihard schlock.

I haven't seen anymore mention this so far: Darren Aronofsky will direct The Wolverine.

I really enjoyed his other films, and am looking forward to the release of The Black Swan down here too, so in my opinion him as director is a pretty damn good thing.  I just hope he's a fan of the books the story is adapted from, or at least X-Men in general so he doesn't phone it in.
=] Aronofsky is bloody brilliant.Period.

Just watched Avatar (for the first time - got one of those moments when hype gets counterproductive so I decided to sit out and wait for the extended edition blu-ray). Visually impressive fairy tale. 3/5.

The only thing I would have done differently with Tron was save the 3D for the scenes inside the computer.

Yes, they did - at least at all the screenings I've heard of (and mine, which I can vouch for).

I call it the "Wizard of Oz effect", where a technology is used appropriately to signify the otherness of a setting.

At the very beginning of the movie as they're zooming in on Flynn's house it's in 3D. I thought it was cool, but unnecessary and detracted from the wow of the grid. YMMV.

It wasn't in 3D. Only the grid was in 3D.

Did my Jeff Bridges double feature on Thursday with "True Grit" and "Tron Legacy". Both were good, but Tron was better of the two, I thought.
