Rachel Nichols cast in the new Conan: Check the character description for tons of story from the new film. (And for those wondering after reading the casting bits - Rourke is playing Conan's dad.)

Does that mean William Smith would be his grandfather? ... Jason Momoa is going to be Conan which is awesome, especially if you saw SG: Atlantis

It is going to be nice to see a more pantherish Conana like in the books instead of the usual condoms full of walnuts.

Momoa is an amazing physical specimen. I know the SG producers were amazed at the stuff he could and he brings a great barbaric growl to the mix, not to mention a very good sense of humor.

Isn't he going to be in the HBO "Game of Thrones" too.

I like Momoa and it's about time he's gotten more work. He seems to exhibit a good sense of humor about what he does.

Unless things have changed, he's also going to be appearing in the Game of Thrones series. These roles may typecast him just a little, but that doesn't seem to have help Dwayne Johnson back too much.

Dwayne Johnson has made it a point to pair himself with Disney for the time being which is good because it allows him to attempt other projects in the future. Plus, he is building his fanbase in a way too.

As for Momoa's sense of humor, you should check out the SG: Atlantis outtakes:

Oh happy day! The first official Tron: Legacy trailer is here! It's mostly stuff we've seen before but it's now in HD! December can't come quickly enough.

Also, there's this.

EDIT: Also, I hadn't seen this pic before today. Very nice.

That Alien prequel a) will be directed by Ridley Scott and produced by his brother Tony (this is old news), b) won't deal with the big alien ship on LV-426 (also old news), and...

c) will be in 3D

d) may be the first installment of a new trilogy!

Am I the only one who is sick of this?  Every 3D movie I've seen so far gives me a headache, and I find that it doesn't look as crisp as 2D.  Not to mention that its $20 for a ticket here, which is rediculous.  Now everything is released in 3D.

Although I will admit it would be cool to see a chestburster in 3D, just not sure it'll be worth the migrane.

I wonder how a prequel will work?  Story wise I mean.

3d is the future, like it or not. They get more money, and it's not easy to copy.

I'm refusing to go even see anything in 3D, just on principle. Very close to boycoting 3D movies in all their forms, including 2D screenings, like I did with Avatar. I admit I'm going to check out the 3D episode on the 2nd season BD set of Chuck, but that's as far as I'm going to bend my principles.

And yes, I know, I was the guy who was calling people our for boycoting EA games. My reasoning still stands: the EA of past, never mind present, is nothing compared to the route Activision has taken Tongue
