So, that was the finale of T:TSCC, huh? Season 3 would have been interesting I think.

I'm so gutted that show didn't go on. It was easily one of the finest pieces of television writing in the last decade (which means it was probably also one of the finest pieces of television writing of all time).

I think I would have been very tempted to keep the actual reveal about what Weaver was until the final episode, so the confrontation in the parking garage is actually scary transitioning into WTF?! instead of being vaguely comedic.

I think my favourite moment was John's horrible realisation that it wasn't Cameron patting the dog. Thomas Dekker suffers somewhat from Keanu-face, so actually seeing that was impressive.

You like Steven Moffat? You like that Victory of the Daleks episode? You like Sherlock Holmes?

Then you might like this.

Anything with Martin Freeman is worth checking out.

And it looks like they'll be going for a younger Holmes and Watson, which should be very interesting.

As for concerns over Moffet splitting his time between this and Doctor Who, it shouldn't be too bad if he's Exec Producing both and only writing a few episodes each year. It helps that they'll likely both be 13 episode seasons, too.

Ok, i said this when i first saw the trailer, but now is official. Covert Affairs is a new, less-fun version of the proposed Veronica Mars second series...

Yeah, I was holding off commenting until I'd seen another episode or two, but the pilot was not stellar...

"Rizzoli & Isles" was very good. Pilots tend to be kinda 'meh' of late, but the one for R&I really set the bar high for the series.

Was it just me or does the girl who plays the lead (blanking on the name right now) look like a blonde Jennifer Garner?

Piper Something-or-other. Played 'Jersey' in Coyote Ugly.

And, yes, there is a bit of a similarity.

Yes, Piper Perabo and Jennifer Garner have similar lips and cheekbones.... However, Piper is 5'3" while Jen is 5'8"-5'9" and looks more lithe in her movements.
