Polish president Lech Kaczyński, his wife and most of the top level polish politicians.

Just like that Poland has no president, no presidential chancellery and no joint chiefs of staff.

Well that certainly has a ring of conspiracy at first title but reading the article not so much. Although, the case could still be made it might be. After they examining everything involving the plane and the landscape, I'm sure the conspiracy idea will be lifted. From a political landscape point, it is kind of like having Obama, Geithner, Pelosi, Reid, Biden, and the board of the Federal Reserve here in the US all die in a crash of Air Force One.

I don't think Putin will seek to reclaim Poland for Russia. But I can only imagine how bad it might get.

That's not even probable, Russia would need to move through other countries to get there plus it would be an aggressive attack on a NATO member.
They also won't try anything on the political scene. Quite the contrary, I think that Putin will try to create a connection to make Poland less hostile towards Russia.

In the end I'm sure it will be proven that it was a tragic accident.

The loss of politicians, while certainly hard, won't impact Poland that much. The loss of six highest ranked generals (the chairman of the joint chiefs, the chiefs of army, navy and air force, the chief of operations and chief of the special forces) effectively beheaded the armed forces. Right now Poland's armed forces are commanded by guys a rank or two lower than really needed. Simply put, those replacements don't have the push necessary to run the show. And that's a problem.
