Gerald Shae

Gerald stares in the direction of the tavern worker's cry, glances back at the wounded man, and lets out a slight sigh.

"Look, Malach, I'll come back if you need me, but I've got to make sure no one else ends up like this..." he utters, disheartened.  He pulls out his sling, and wonders if this is a good day to start throwing rocks around...

"If it's the undead, I'd ask someone to toss me a knife.  Nothing too fancy, but one of those Stilettos would be the best tool for the job."

Within the Inn, Gerald and Kel'Ar move towards the back doors, hearing the disconcerting sound of the Raveners trying to gain entrance. the sturdy barred oak doors seem to be holding for the moment though.
Malach stabilises the patient with the clever use of tobacco, taking a moment to catch his breath after his flurry of actio.
Upstairs Krieger pauses a second, for just a moment he thought he could hear the sounds of battle, smiling slightly he remembers battles long passed as he continues to don his armour.

Without the Inn the Rootwalker Groot pounds a Ravener into the earth, shattering it's bones with a clublike branch. While Jabe peers round for something to kill.
Thayden heads around back and peers around the back of the Inn, more Raveners scrape at the doors to the Inn, and as he watches they head up the walls with surprising strength and speed.

As the group start to get their bearings more Raveners leap and climb up the walls...

Roger Conrad

"Damned undead..."

Roger swings at the thing in front of him.

(click to show/hide)

He looks up and sees the next wave, taking a step back towards the door. (Bonus 5' step.)

"Damned Reapers..."

Roger repeats the same chant and gestures, pointing at the monster on the eastern wall and then at the two on the stable roof.

"Watch the walls! Malach! Get everyone into the main room!"

The rootwalker moves towards the stables with heavy deliberate steps. As he does so, one great hand collects the elf maid riding astride his -- well, shoulders for lack of a better word -- and hurls her ahead of him.

Clutching her vicious boar spear in both hands, the moon light glinting off its blade, the elf lets loose an ululating war cry as she describes a shallow parabolic arc towards one of the creatures standing astride the stable roof...

Kreiger of Bloodmoor

As Kreiger finishes fastening his chainmail greaves into place, he again swears he heard something bang or crash, and this time he is sure it wasn't from some fond memory.  Grabbing his shield, he moves to the door and sticks his head out of the room looking for the source of the noise.

Kel`ar

Noting that the doors seem to be holding, Kel moves up the stairways, not trusting the creatures of the windows on the second floor to keep them out.

[spolier]Both actions, moving to and then up the stairs[/spoiler]

Gerald Shae

He loads his sling, resolutely walking towards the center of the room.  He wants to make sure the patrons know he is where they can go if things get hectic.

Draethon and Trenevar

Draethon whistles to Trenevar, signaling for him to follow and engage, and moves to the west at a rapid pace and closes in on the undead beast before him, unleashing the fury of his axe as he swings it at the undead's head!
[Standard Attack: 19 + 7 = 26 vs. Defense; Damage: 9]

Trenevar rushes ahead to follow his friend's lead and flanks the wolf with Draethon, using his Wolf Pack Basics to gain advantage on his prey!
[Standard Attack: 3 + 4 + 2= 9 vs. Defense; Damage (if he hits): 17]

Roger Conrad

Roger curses colorfully at the monster's re-corpse and looks up. He chants the same spell for the third time, pointing at the two things on Thayden.

Roger then moves inside to see what he can do about the climbers.

Kel`ar

Centering himself, Kel looks left and right checking for uninvited guests, his diamond eyes glinting in the candle light, the gemstone fingernails of his claw hand extended and ready.

Draethon and Trenevar

No more enemies in sight, Draethon signals Trenevar to follow and they both run to the inn, hearing the chaos and commotion within.

Gerald Shae

Gerald stands ready in the middle of the room, and the next "thing" that approaches him is going to get hit...HARD. He whirls his sling overhead, in a manner that might be menacing if one did not know how unskilled he actually was with it.  Putting on a good show wouldn't scare such freakish creatures, but it might steel the inn staff against this threat.

Malach pulls the man to as safe a spot as possible (behind the bar maybe?).. then arms his weapon and grabs his shield.
