Quote from: Krensky
The post already stated he turned away from her back to the door, which he was actually on his way out before she slammed it shut. He didn't say an or else. She attacks him from behind, trying to wrench his sword from his hand. Apparently because he wants to open the door for a few seconds to a otherwise empty courtyard to let the groom and the other PC inside.

First, given that Jabe's at the door, dropping the crossbar into place, it's physically impossible for him to suddenly interpose himself between it and her the way you're imagining. He is standing directly behind her, shouting; when she turns around, he's holding a magic sword in her face.

Second, I've been under the impression that there's a side door leading into the courtyard and a front door leading outside the fenceline into the wilderness; it's the latter that Jabe has just sealed, though reading back just now it appears I was mistaken (I could have sworn Dice had the wounded guy going in a side entrance Embarrassed). If there's only the one door, then we don't have a problem because Jabe would instead just run straight back into the courtyard; if there's two then we still don't have a problem because you were clearly intending on heading out into the courtyard anyway.

Third -- and somewhat tangental -- Dice has got Jabe's Init wrong: it should be 21 (I forgot to add the bonus from Martial Arts), not 10

I'm not someone who favours player vs player conflict (well, at least not in most games). I'm fine with intra-party tension and working together for the better good, but this has turned violent far too quickly for my tastes.

As it turns out Andersen has just amended his actions.  I'd quite like to put up a map, but the pdf's copy-paste prohibited and while I can work around it, it's a bit taking liberties with Crafty's product.

Okay backtracking, Jabe has headed out into the courtyard and I'm presuming Roger headed out as well, given that's what he was headed for before this got a bit messed up.

Assuming the most basic capabilities, the Print-screen button + MS Paint (or what ever image manipulation program you might have) are your friends in such a situation as this.

Also, since Jabe's and Roger's actions have been ammended due to player confusion, Lisbet's little outburst doesn't make sense.

Map
Hopefully no-one has issues with .pdf files.

Note: It's copy-paste/print disabled etc and it's got player positions all over, if anyone at Crafty does have objections to me posting it on here then I'll take it down and you'll have to live with quick MSPaint approximations.

Edit: Also if anyone has any character art they'd prefer to use, do let me know. At current everyone has first initial. Kel'Ar is K'A to distinguish him from Krieger (K), Thayden is Th to distinguish from Trenevar (Tr). Also Jabe is mounted on Groot, so doesn't have a seperate token.

Taken the liberty of rolling init for Draethon/Trenevar.

Thanks!  I have been out of pocket all weekend, so appreciate it!
Yep, Trenevar is prepared for anything that might approach as is Draethon - high alert status!

Krieger(Bill Whitmore) - 3
Putting on armour, since my searches for how long it takes to put on armour of turned up naught, I'm going to to rule that it takes 1 full round for partial, 2 full rounds for Moderate and an extra round for fittings. So Moderate armour and fittings will take 3 full rounds. Plus a standard action to pick up weapons? Alternatively you could leave the fittings off.

Yea, I didn't see anything either.

Just to make sure I understand, after 1 round of putting on armor, I'll have Partial Armor, after 2 rounds, I'll have Moderate armor, and if I am still at it after 3 rounds, I would have the fittings.

My intent at this point was to put on my armor in preparation for a trip to the church, but if/when I hear anything of there being beasts in the mists or fighting, I'm going to just grab my shield and move out.

Notes about combat sequence.
I'm going to try and post up to the relevent part of the round each night (or quicker if people keep up the post counts) so ideally if we can have everyone up to the Creatures with stated orders before tommorow evening. "Conditional Orders" would be helpful if you post before someone who is above you in the initiative count.
When I update I'll do an OOC round countdown and then post an update in the IC thread.  If anything is unclear or if someone hasn't posted when I update I'll interpret what they're doing from prior posts/situation around them.
If anyone wants general conditional orders then feel free to let me know (i.e. in combat I'll try and get to the most powerful looking enemy and hit him with my sword, or keep out of melee pick off weak enemies with my bow).
Finally if anyone has any real issues with what I decide their character does, do let me know but I'm not having combat getting bogged down into a 3-month-long activity.

Bill: That wasn't my intent but on consideration makes sense. So yes, after 1 round you'll have partial, 2 rounds moderate and 3 rounds fittings. Since you're upstairs and not actively looking out the window, you're presently unaware of any immediate danger (though I assume still hurrying)

Correct, I AM in a hurry in that I want to get it ready soon to head to the church, but I am not really hurrying in the sense of needing it before we get attacked at the inn.

Are we on round 2 now? so the actions you listed in your Jan 10th are already completed? and the high initiative folks need to post on what their new actions would be?
