Webworm would like to perform an Analysis/Examine Media check on the maps we've been provided.  If it's applicable, his 'historical sites' interest might be useful if the base was built on top of an older facility.  Also, where is building 2099?

There is minimal information to be had on the map other than altitudes, locations, perimeters, and related.

The info packet has the gate access information and regulations.

Doing research on building locations, Commander Henrich's office is at the base security HQ (2099), which is on the west end of the base along the south road.

There are 3 gates, 2 on the West end, 1 on the east. The north West gate is the main gate and is open 24 hours. The south west gate is the overflow gate and is only open during weekdays except for ship departures/arrivals. The east gate is usually closed except for excercises.

WEBWORM can gather some publicly available photos of the target building. It is adjacent to a uniform shop (which is the actual subject of the photo), but the building is separated from the uniform shop parking lot by a fence with a "restricted area" sign posted, but the fence does not have razor wire.

The records also show the building used to be an armory; if you can find the original blueprints (not on an open network, it appears), that might provide you with a floorplan.

You can make out some features from the public photo. The front entrance seems to be the only access that is regularly used, though there are side loading doors. The building AC looks like it has been refurbished, with a cooling plant on top. You could pull specs up for that, too, given time. Or someone might know a bit about it.

Emmy collects her items, pulling out SUV keys and pocketing them for the moment. Once she has all of her gear, she makes her way to the exit, taking a cursory glance around the area, looking for anything out of the ordinary.

As she starts to walk down the steps of the plane, she softly starts singing as she watches the snow falling lightly...

Swarm

Well there are 3 vehicles.  Should be fairly easy for you to claim one.  ::smirks::  Also the blue tooths should be in one of them make sure you all grab one.
I would suggest that one small team take a drive by the general area, and the rest of us hit the motel and set up shop.  Finish up the new id's and see what info we can pick up locally.

Laura yawned as she stepped out of the plane after a long and entirely silent trip.  Without even so much as a glance toward the other agents, she walked solemnly toward the nearest of the SUVs, popping open the passenger side door and climbing inside without bothering to check who was driving.  "Let's not dally.  We have a job to do."  She pulled the door closed behind her, buckling her seatbelt into place, and leaned against the window, tapping her fingers impatiently across the inside of the door.

I'll drive another SUV, I suggest the support team check out the base, as if anyone randomly notices us taking a look we're not going to be showing our faces later?

EXCALIBUR

"Ok, support team with me in the front SUV - we'll take a nice little drive around the perimeter of the base. Insertion team - you guys may want to set us up with a base of operations in a motel room or some such while we take a look. I'll bring back take out so we don't need to worry about food later on." He looks at the team. "Cool?"

{Swarm}

If our superiors didn't let it slip we should have a rooms at a local motel.  One of the Vehicles should have the reservation packet in it.

(early security pick was level 1 hotel reservation)

We c an set up there and then see about setting up a rerouted network as well for you guys to work through.

Also if you get a chance check to see what is up and down the coast here, current wise we may be able to use that as another back door.

Emmy fishes out the SUV keys from her pocket, looks at them briefly and says to the group, "Well, since I will have to go check the area out, who wants to take the last vehicle to the hotel? I think that I should be the only other support person besides him..." throwing a quick thumb at Excalibur, "in case we need an extra hand from support who hasn't potentially been seen. Plus, my NCIS experience may come in handy spotting something."

Emmy tosses the keys to the person who calls them and heads out with Excalibur.

Vienna
"Kay, meet you later."
Vienna takes the keys for the other SUV and cheerfully assists everyone with loading it up.

MUNIN

Emmy looks at Excaliber after about an hour of driving near the base and finding out a couple of important facts about the base, "Perhaps we should head back to the hotel, share what we know. Then get some sleep. We are going to have a very long day."

Emmy then looks at the lightly falling snow and that nagging feeling of uneasiness hits her like a wave again, but she quickly pushes it down and concentrates on scenarios the team could partake in on the mission.
