Looks like the gang's all back, and we're picking up a new recruit...

Ok, since I have no plot at all written yet, I want to know what you want to see in the next adventure. Where do you want to go, and what do you want to do?

I'm thinking of doing something with Dwarves, or maybe Gondor.

Incidentally, I will now allow one Elf in the party, but only for an experienced player.

Will anyone have a problem if I drop in a GMPC?

i like the dwarf thing, but then i might be biased since i'm playing a dwarf. Gondor would be very cool too.

no problem with a gmpc from me.

I'd like to visit Lorien again, in a bit more depth.

I have no problem with a GMPC - wasn't Gandalf one of those, with a hefty sprinkling of deus ex machina?

Yeah, I'm thinking it's the dwarves' time to shine now, as we've already spent time amongst the hobbits, men, and to a lesser degree the elves. I just gotta figure out who to name as my ward when we begin...

I was thinking a lorien elf sage/mystic. A kind of mysterious aloof type trying to maintain the mystery and wonder of Loth Lorien as portrayed in the novels.
Experienced player probably means previously played ME here I'll happily work up a couple of other ideas. It can't hurt to ask though and I have been in rpg for 27 years now...

i have no problem with the dwarves getting the spotlight, though i also have a subplot based heavily in gondor.

I seemed to be leveled up already.  Level 7 I picked up the Animal Companion (Rohirrim Pony) feat and bought up my ranks in ride to go with it, but I'll go over it and see if there is anything that was missed.

All of the feats are present, but I now have a number of abilities that are dependent on the types of feats, so I would like to tag the feats with their type on the sheet for easy reference.

D'oh! Just as I stop bringing the FC book to work with me. I'll get onto this tonight and post the details tomorrow. I'm going to stick with Lancer, but I want to check a few of the new options in AC and see if they're worth taking (if we're allowed to use it, that is).

Here's my first pass at a concept. If an elf is out I can generate another idea easily. Any ideas and refinements will be considered.

A tall lean handsome elf dressed in the flowing grey and silver the people of the Golden Wood approaches. He looks like a slight youth of twenty but a very old soul stares out from his grey eyes. He arrives on foot with few possessions and road-weary.

Gillion, who is also called Thurinir, speaks of a diplomatic mission to Rohan and Gondor. Goblins though, are now bold enough to range far and his party was attacked. Their boat was set ablaze. In order to cover the same ground without the speed of their boat the group split up.

The above is a half truth. Galadriel has felt the world ‘turning’ and sensing dark forces afoot seeks to understand the current situation. What are the attitudes, rulers, strengths of the people of the West. Have Men fallen into the influence of shadow? What secrets are yet hidden? Can the old alliances be made to breathe again? Therefore the elves of Lothlorien have sent agents into the world. Gillion is one such agent.
The age of an elf is impossible to guess, Gillion is very old indeed but has spent most of his life in sheltered leisure deep in the Golden Wood. Only once before has he ventured out for any length of time; as a young soldier barely a century old he fought in the desperate battle against Sauron at the end of the Second Age. He was a warrior for a short time but this is well in the past, he has lived the life of a scholar and mystic since.
