Yeah, the only thing I might consider dropping coin on is elixirs, otherwise I'm set.

It could be a long and arduous journey.  We may be lost for a long time.  There's no telling when we'll be back.  Having to forage will slow us down.  So I'll request as much food and drink as I can carry, just in case. Tongue

With my Panache and Coin In Hand (30s), I 'd like to purchase some Fresh Food (15s), Hearty Food (10s) and a week of rations.  If they are supplying us with food for the journey, I'll spend it on some dwarven spices (25s).

Any money left over I'll spend on common meals (1s/day).  You can live off Rations, but they taste like shit.

Ok, i've added Gorbo and Kyan's purchases. As to the elixirs, here's what's available:

Oils
Purifying
Restoration

Potions
Boost Constitution
Confidence
Refreshing
Sustaining
Vitality

Vials
Acid (both)
Shattering

Make your purchases in the next 48 hours please, or i'll assume that you don't want anything.

Supplies After some thought…
Bandages x1
Salve x1
Balm x1
Comfort food x5
I’m assuming that rations are provided
65s left
60.6 lb carried. Gillion can carry 50 lb no problem can I off-load the rest somewhere?

Are we waiting on people making gearing up choices? Apologies if there are real-world issues slowing the pace.

Nah it's my fault. I should've dropped an update 2 days ago, but i'm back to work this week after a week off, and truth be told I just couldn't be bothered!

Sorry guys. Update posted.

I hear you brother, I have serious GM fatigue with a GURPS time travel I'm running. With work and life sometimes its just too much and you need a session off.

In case you hadn't heard, I'm getting married this weekend so may not be as online as I would like to be. Hopefully it won't be too bad, but there's a lot of family coming I haven't seen in, well, years, so my time might get a little tight.

Cheers all. That's all done with now, so I'm looking forward to getting my geek on properly once more.

Also, something I should have asked earlier... is Erkenwulf able to bring Adelhard with him into the depths of the mountian, or is it like Moria where horses don't like entering? I don't mind if I have to go without, I'll just have to whip the first ridable critter we find down there into service Tongue

You've been advised to leave him behind, and the stairs are a bit steep...

Catodon, that use of magic is perfectly appropriate for the setting.

I don't mind the odd lightning bolt or fireball either, as long as it's saved for a dramatically appropriate moment.

I'd rather avoid anything that flashy. Even this little bit of magic is covered in 'stage dressing' to tone it down. That said if you thow something terrible at us I might not be able to resist and pull a Glorfindel vs the Ring Wraiths.   Evil
