There is no skills for performance for distracting in the midst of a adventure, besides downtime.
What if a character wants to role play their performance, during a scene?

Shocked Hello! There is no performance feats! for Pc's to do this in play! For example how can they  roleplay a performance  in front of a noble or king?

You can make distract and taunt checks [they're both in combat section, page 219 & 220] in combat.

Downtime checks are left purposely vague, as its up to the players and the GC as to how you actually make money or gain Rep.  You could use sense motive for a performance [the skill covers seeing how into the performance the crowd is, and adjusting to suit] or whatever else fits the suitation [Acrobatics for a street performance with juggling and acrobatic feats etc].

Generally I'd go with Impress as the default performance skill, though leeway may be allowed.

Impress is a good one, perhaps referencing an interest to determine what exactly you're being so impressive with.

As Turnip has already suggested, this would be a use of a Distract check, most likely (maybe keyed to Impress rather than the default skill)

Depends on the end goal. Generally, I would either leave this to roleplaying and/or use the Impress skill. Performance has traditionally been an Impress activity (though I could see Bluff, Disguise, or Intimidate being part of it in certain circumstances).

No, drums. Unless you're Niel Peart, in which case it's Impress. Very, very Impress.
