So, there have been quite a few threads about porting SC stuff to FC, but not a whole lot of stuff about going the other way.

What stuff is ripe for "repurposing" for Spycraft 2.0?

Morg offered us the idea of stealing the Sage mechanics to make the Pointman more playable.

The first thing I did when I got the FC PDF was print out the stress/subdual damage rules and use it in place of the SC rules. These rules come up frequently enough in play, yet the progressions of conditions is non-obvious; the cleaner FC rules for stress and subdual play smoother.

And most recently, I thought it would be great to port the crafting Improvisation rule (possibly as a quality or feat) to the science skill. As it is in SC, the long downtime periods the Science skill checks require make it too difficult to make a compellingly playable scientist. Being able to improvise gear without resorting to the Inventor class would be great for a Burn Notice style game.

Reputation system -  Holdings, favours, renown.
"Magic" Items - Could be cybernetics, or gadgets, or anything that fits the setting.
The cash system - If your setting doesn't involve agency backing, just change the Silver to Dollars, and maybe double it if you feel the need, costs are in the spycraft book.  I find the FC version cleaner then the one in Big Score.
Cheating Death - Use as is, but its setting dependant of course, and makes a fine substitute for Revolving Door

I'm thinking of using the FC World Building rules (Eras, Beliefs etc) to flesh out some of my SC settings eg my Feudal/Age of Reason/Industrial Post-Apocalypse world and Feudal/Age of Reason Sword and Planet setting.

I'll be taking monsters from the Bestiary and using them as mutant creatures (eg Bugbears, Bullette) and aliens (eg White Ape)

Cheating death will be use in Pulp campaigns I think.
