An upgrade that added the ability to fly to an item would be interesting, thought I don't know if it would be as expensive as Powered. You could also have the option for Sail-Bound Flight at a slightly lower cost than normal Flight.
My idea was that the upgrade would only give the ability to float/levitate, the propulsion would have to either already exist on the vehicle or be provided separately.

It could just be me, but I felt the core book didn't have enough campaign Qualities. Thus I would like to see more campaign Qualities, to further help shape the tone of a Fantasy Game. Although I've only looked at them once, and wouldn't have any ideas what to add, all the same.

Of course, this is coming from the person who thought "Cheating Death" would've been a Campaign Quality, in addition to time periods, opening up the option for Gunpowder weapons.

You should also check out the Campaign Qualities from Spycraft 2.0 as some of them should port over quite easily.

Actually, I own two copies of the 2.0 Spycraft I do believe, one of them being a Pocket Edition. Has all those nifty errata, format changes, and cheaper to buy? Thus I knew I wanted that book.

Anyways, I've checked out the campaign qualities in that book first, and was thinking that FantasyCraft would have more than Spycraft would. Perhaps I expect too much, without really knowing to expect?

Any campaign qualities come to mind, that you think would port over to FantasyCraft well? Or perhaps the opposite, ones not so much, disregarding the obvious firearm related ones, and Historical.

I'm in agreement

Mass combat rules would be nice.

Maybe something akin to how the npc creation rules are for nations, city's, towns,  guilds, secret society's and the like where you can swap in and out attributes  or kits or whatever good wholesome crafty like bits that would apply.

A dm shield or something easy to print out so that we don't thread bare our books would be nice too.

I tasted the Fantasy craft crunchy bits and it was GOOD!   Now I want more!!  Wink

Yes, mass combat rules would be nice (like I already asked about what's the situation Smiley ). Rules for creating (and running) nations, fiefs and organizations would be cool, too. That's because once PCs gain status they are less likely to delve dungeons etc. and if they don't want to do it themselves at least someone will want to use their status and reputation for political gain. So, in a way I believe that while PCs will begin to get more and more bad ass in personal way they will get to run bigger things, too.

There *are* more campaign qualities in Fantasy Craft Smiley IIRC there's 52 - Spycraft as I recall has about half that? Also, some of the qualities which repeat a mechanic (such as "take a feat from X feat tree whenever you gain any feat") were condensed into a single quality in FC (such as Feat Exchange).

There's certainly room for more though! I have a number on the old workbench which you should be seeing as time and products progress Smiley

These are great character mods.

Coming from the perspective that i don't have spycraft 2.0.

I want more stuff to add to the foundation of world building.  I can get my other sources from other sources but having it crafted with craft means less time worrying about how to convert something into the game.

One thing I'd like to see (though it's likely to not occur in the near future for obvious and quite reasonable reasons) is alternative notions of magic and alternative powers systems.  One great example is psionics (and please to not be making it another form of spellcasting - you did a good thing with not making Priests another form of Mage, keep it up!).  However, it'd also be nice at some point to see alternate schools of magic and the like.

I also would like to see Organization rules, especially since Tekumel is one of my most favorite gaming settings and you can't run it properly without proper rules for clans (I think Fantasy Craft Tekumel could be made of some serious win).

Another natural addition would be a fantasy bestiary.  You could all it a Creature Manual!  Or a Monster Compendium!  Or something like that.   Wink

EDIT:  To avoid double-posting, I have another request.  I'd like to see longer gear lists for each era.  While there are good basics, a more complete weapon/armor/gear list for different eras (especially Primitive and Ancient, which don't have a lot of options as it stands) would be awesome.

Alex and I haven't been posting too much in this thread but rest assured we're keeping an eye on it. Thanks for the feedback! It (usually) makes our jobs a bit easier as we prep new products. Smiley

Second this for psionics. There are plenty of options here, the simplest I think being that psionic powers follow the feat structure and use a form of fatigue/stress damage when using them to limit their uses with class powers that make you handle the damage more easily. I'd also like to see the powers remain true to the more sci-fi psionic concepts (Not D&D psionics) you've already used (Telepaths, Kineticists, Physcial Adepts).

Small, dedicated PDF booklets of monsters like Dinosaurs, Undead, Arabian Monsters, Giant Insects etc. would also be cool.

There are some really neat ideas here.  But what I'd really like to see first are the things that have fallen behind (e.g. the Spellbounds, all that stuff that was going to be in FC but got pulled, etc.).  I don't want to see things constantly getting pushed back to make way for the next new shiny.  The situation with the Spellbounds has, for me at least, been extremely frustrating/disappointing and it isn't a philosophy that I want to see become the norm.

Spellbounds ?

Whats that?

As for the next new shiny  having a new book that is gm friendly to help  flesh out  campaign settings of all types sounds like a great  thing to me.

Fantasy craft is a terrific product.   Wink

And that the developers observe like a proud parent  and listen to this thread is terrific.  Grin

It would be helpful to describe  if its applicable to Fantasy craft what you would like to see regarding  spellbound.
