I only read the harry potter books because I was going to see the movie.  Then i was hooked, but not obsessed...

My obsessions are still pretty strictly Crafty products I am happy to report! (that, and star wars... my secret shame)

I am adding The Prophecy to the list, another Horror/Mystery film, and Seventh Seal to finish off with Horror/Religious.

I think that wraps the list for this year. Smiley

Added one movie at the last minute, Deathwatch [Horror/War] for three reasons - It was cheap, was a genre that was not otherwise represented, and most importantly was the only one that I had never seen. Smiley Set during WWI it could have done with a somewhat larger budget, most especially in regards to sound. I have definitely seen much worse movies.

The bit where the dude comes alive out of the mud is especially choice in Deathwatch, but I agree that the production could have used more budget.

I tracked my seasonal viewing here:  http://wyrmstone.org/x/forum-topic?id=1298

in case anyone cares about what I watch to try and give myself a heart attack.  Smiley

I almost ordered Silent Hill on blu-ray, but became totally confused when trying to figure out which version to buy. It's one of those early BD releases that wasn't quite perfected yet for the UK and US versions, while the French version has a new, director-supervised transfer. The French version of course has forced French subtitles with the English audio, and while I like to have (English) subtitles on movies I watch, French isn't cutting it. It was a day well wasted.
