I'd be interested if we could up the starting level to 3 (for the enxt feat) or even 5 (for the 1st level of expert classes) to take the tools for more of a spin

If third level is what it takes to get another player then so be it. I still feel uncomfortable with higher levels since this is my first time DMing using this system  Cool

I've written up a dwarf explorer, though if we're moving to lvl 3 I'll need to level him up.

If you are happy with level 3 I can go with it.  But what would be a good recomended starting cash of that level?

I'm fine with 300+ Lifestyle ... any suggestions on how to handle Reputation?

So for sure a Giant Soldier and a Dwarf Explorer...

Quicklift: Still going to do a goblin lancer?

I think I am going to be taking characters until this weekend. In the meantime, general bios/motivations are encouraged Smiley

I found the section that states that beginning rep is equal to career level.  so beginning rep is 30.

30 it is, then!

And any weapon in the book is fair game.

I suggest putting some kind of limitation on Reputation purchases of magic items.  30 Rep isn't a huge contact or holding, but it's one great magic item.

I didnt know that reading through tthe erratta thread of 54+ pages, i may have skipped a lot -  if that is the case I will select a different terrain feat.

Thanks for the heads up.

And any size is fine with me.... Gives a nice large scratching post for my cats.    Smiley
