First at all, I would like to apologize if this question has been answered elsewhere.

As Ten Thousand will use the Mastercraft system, can we expect to find Mastercraft versions of Spycraft classes?

If that's correct, is there any Spycraft class that won't appear in 10KB?

Thanks!

The jury's still out. Because 10kB is Mastercraft, and Mastercraft books focus on the core elements of their partiular genres, some classes from Spycraft won't be there (and new ones may be there as well). For instance, you can count on 20 level versions of Lawman, Thief, Thug, and Fixer...but stuff like the Scientist, Scout, Explorer, etc don't necessarily have a place in the street genre. These issues are still being worked out, obviously.

What about Advocate or a lawyer style class?

I expect the Mobster ExC from the Fixer/Pointman Guide to be upgraded to be 10KB as well as the Street Knight ExC.

Wait a second.... So the lawman, thief, etc will be in mastercraft? And what will be in the 10kb book? I mean, I thought the more generic classes would be in mastercraft and things like lawman and the like would be in 10kb. Correct me if i'm wrong.

10KB will be another part of the Mastercraft collection when it joins FantasyCraft.

A bit of clarification: Ten Thousand Bullets will be a Mastercraft core book, like Fantasy Craft except for street crime/noir. Like Fantasy Craft, it will be standalone. It will contain classes and other material that fit its genre and setting - some old, some new, some converted, some not. This is how all the Mastercraft core books will work - they will include whatever is (most) appropriate to what they're trying to accomplish. There isn't a set formula for this and we won't arbitrarily be including everything that might fit just because we can (that way lies madness). Smiley

Remember, the only purely Mastercraft releases you'll see are ones that support all (or at least most) of the core books - like the Dramatic Conflict products.

Hope that helps.

the Dramatic Conflict products.

Either I've missed something, or that was the stealthiest product announcement EVER! Smiley

Which makes me think... since some SC classes will be reappearing in 10kb, is there a possibility of seeing some of the 10kb classes in SC? Thug and Lawman have been high on my list to get into SC gaming ever since I first saw the previews... Agent X: Lawman? Smiley

Clearly you missed something. They've been talking back and forth about various Dramatic Conflict expansions since before they started the "don't talk about unreleased stuff' policy. The number 1 example, of course, being Mass Combat.

Anything is possible. (Well, not anything - but certainly most things.) Wink

I just hope they will be an Urban Explorer class, if not in the base book then in one of the supplements.

I can't wait for this game to come out, actually. I already have an idea of running a campaign where they characters are a group of "gas station employees/vigilantes". They'll be cleaning up the streets (hopefully) while giving more than satisfactory customer service (probably not).

That and:
Ten Thousand Bullets + Fantasy Craft = Dresden Files!
