i made these for my Lotr campaign and the additional herbs i use there. What is your opinion? Does it work? Is the feat worth taking?
It is for a campaign where herbs are the sole source of magical healing

Skill

Survival/ Search raw materials
The character must have a combined Survival skill bonus + Career Level of at least the materialís total Search Value (= Complexity). Your Wisdom modifier determines the number of times you are allowed to make a Survival/Search check per Scene. Roll a 1d20 to get the silver value (in lbs.) you have just found.

Feats

Gatherer Basics
You find the good stuff
Requirement: Survival  1+ ranks
Benefit:. When searching materials, you find double the normal silver value.
Also, the maximum Search Value (Complexity) you may search increases by the number of Terrain feats you have.

At first blush, I thought you might want to modify Survival/Forage but it doesn't seem to generate a product like you're looking for here. I would make this a Downtime (1 day) activity for starters (as it's based on the Crafting/Build check already), which makes logical sense (this is superior to Foraging, which takes 4 hours) and will eliminate the need for per-scene restrictions.
