If it could be done, I prefer the Complete Psionics book from 2nd Ed D&D over the 3E or 3.5E version. It was better overall.

Eeee. Disagree. The 2e system was almost "exchange collossal cosmic power for the random chance to kill yourself."

Of course, it's almost the same as the crafty threat/error system if you think about it, but *Craft puts your fate in the hands of the ever-so-generous GM.  Grin

There were better power selections AND it enforced the idea of Wild Talent Psionics but still kept the formative abilities of 1st Ed

Ugh. Second Edition psionics were a mess. They scaled poorly, used an entirely different subsystem than everything else, and just in general didn't feel like part of the game. That's my biggest concern with FC doing psionics: I think that psionic abilities should be part of a good fantasy rules set, but they need to be balanced with the other supernatural options as well as feeling like they're from the same game. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the Crafty crew does with it, though.

Ha, got it already. I picked up 50 PDFs when ENW needed new servers and was selling them a dollar each Smiley
