"A clockwork construct, here? Come, come, sit. It's not often I get the chance to interact with a clockwork construct, and especially not one as finely crafted as yourself. I suppose it's not surprising, being a follower of Tevra, but I've always had a certain facination with constructs, especially clockwork constructs. Would you mind telling me a little bit about yourself?"

The ogre looks confused for a moment, as he watches the two fawn over the strange looking thing. Still, it's nice for someone else to be the oddity for a change. He shrugs, and signals to the barmaid to bring more food and ale. He is not picky as to what, and accepts scraps.
He sits back and listens to the others circling around the contraption.

Kabuki
"I was crafted by Master Torwhile Dain 2 years ago, my intended function to dance, act and otherwise entertain, while I have since studied my construction I was not aware of being made - I know that I am the third iteration of the Master's Dolls - and the only one with the capacity to learn from experience."

ROUND 1

There's a commotion in the courtyard -- a panicked horse and men shouting.

[foproy]

rushes outside to see the commotion.

[Antilles]

"Sounds like one of the horses was spooked by something, I better go and check if anyone's hurt..." Jack says as he puts away the pipe he was in the process of filling, and walks hurriedly out to see what the commotion is.

[Agent 333]

Rokrah rushes between the legs of the giant peoples around him to squeeze his way to the front of the room. When he gets outside, he says in his biggest voice "Is anyone in need of assistance?!"

Swift rushes outside and floats up a few feet, just enough to see over everyones heads.

Kabuki
Kabuki heads outside but stands back to watch events before drawing attention to herself

[NezMaster]

Stonecrusher barely notices the noises outside. He does notice all the people rushing to investigate the noises outside, and with a slow reaction, rises, and saunterse out to join the party. He is a bit towards the back, and watches, his not so swift mind trying to piece everything together as he watches.

As people inside begin to react to the noise outside, Slash puts down his drink and quickly moves his hand to his sword. As he stands and moves towards the group he places his other hand on the hilt, ready to draw should the situation worsen. He doesn't say anything, simply keeps his eyes on the door.

ROUND 2

Slash:
A woman outside gives a short scream. Something heavy crashes into the wooden porch.

Rokrah:
You finally manage to push your way to the front of the crowd. A rider appears to have been thrown onto the porch. His horse has collapsed, its muzzle flecked with blood and foam. The rider pales and goes limp in front of your eyes; his breathing shallows out. He's still alive, but won't be for long.

In the distance you hear the sounds of pursuit within a heavy fog bank that's rolling with unnatural speed toward the courtyard gate.

Stonecrusher:
After sauntering outside you see a rider appears to have been thrown onto the porch. His horse has collapsed, its muzzle flecked with blood and foam. The rider pales and goes limp in front of your eyes; his breathing shallows out. He's still alive, but won't be for long.

In the distance you hear the sounds of pursuit within a heavy fog bank that's rolling with unnatural speed toward the courtyard gate.

Donovan, Jack, Swiftwind, Kabuki:
A lathered horse hurtles toward the inn, collapsing several feet away and pitching its rider onto the porch. The rider is covered in dust, sweat, and blood, and his breathing is raspy and labored.

Help them! he croaks. They're at the church. You have to help them -- before they're found!

The rider pales and goes limp; his breathing shallows out. He's still alive, but won't be for long.

In the distance you hear the sounds of pursuit within a heavy fog bank that's rolling with unnatural speed toward the courtyard gate.

donovan with no concern for his own life bolts off to the gate, flying as fast as he can.catch me up, "ill see if i can help at the gate."
