Judging by the smiley it must be a really large and impressive dead tree.

For those interested, Fantasy Craft is finally listed on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.  It has a date of October 28th for release, but unfortunately no price is listed yet.

Right, I am getting on to Mongoose, I haven't heard squat since I ordered it.

As an aside, I wonder if we could get Crafty to do a subscription deal like Paizo, subscribe to all their FC books and get the PDF free.....HINT HINT.

If not free maybe at a discount?  I know most of my group would grab the pdf as well as their hardcopy if it was cheaper.  [I'm not saying the PDF's expensive at all, just after 80 bucks to get the book down under, you feel the cost].

The Crafty Crew has repeatedly stated that the distribution chains for PDFs and Print Products are too far removed to make any sort of discount scheme logistically possible.
Pazio only gets away with it because it does both in house, whereas Crafty does neither in house.

My hardcopy just arrived today. I find I read the hardcopy differently, and am enjoying rediscovering that.

I know what you mean. I just hope the next generation of e-readers can handle PDFs properly so it becomes less of a problem.

Mmh. I've had my pdf of Spycraft for... 2 years? (at least according to my file creation dates) and frankly, I've been really vague on a lot of details of the system (I've never had the chance to play it). While I've really liked what I've seen and managed to gather from the pdf, I'm only now starting to understand the whole. To me, pdfs make convenient backups/references during gaming, but I can't wrap my head around anything new I don't have in paper.

(As an aside, this means I'm pulling the trigger on dead-tree WoF and the Declassifieds next month) Tongue

I thought fellow UK peeps would like to know the dead-tree version has just become available at Infinity Games.
