And my sister and my brother
Lo, there do I see the line of my people Back to the beginning.
Lo, they do call to me.They bid me take my place among them

Was down at the FLGS this morning and the boxes rolled in, had the clerk check in on FantasyCraft, and they were able to pull my preorder out and sell it to me.  I am a happy panda.

Happy gaming all.

So... I have a major complaint against Crafty Games and Fantasy Craft.  You see, I bought the pdf.  All good and fine.  But then I was grocery shopping and my FTSVALGS* was close by so I went in to say hello, and browse around before shopping.  Well, I ended up buying the Dead Tree version as well.  I am very disappointed in Crafty Games for making me buy both versions, by putting out such a good product.

I'm going to have to sell my 4e books, so I can pay my credit card bill/cover my costs for buying Fantasy Craft!

* Friendly Though Slightly Verbally Abusive Local Gaming Store.

Just a suggestion though - if you EVER release a collectors edition, I suggest you call it a 'Dead Rootwalker' edition that comes, rather than with a leather bound cover , a bark bound edition with a cover similar to the Evil Dead 1 & 2 Book of the Dead Edition.   I just suggest that, because you know, I'd probably buy that as well.  Bastards. Haha me too the PDF has me hooked enough that I have the 'massacred rootwalker' version on the way direct from Mongoose, should be here in about a week...depending on how long it takes to cross the entire world!

Got the PDF as soon as it was out.

Ordered the dead tree version from my FLGS.
They still flag it as "ei julkaistu" or "not published". Crafty guys are kindly getting in touch with them.

Should have gone directly to Mongoose, I would have it in my hands right now.

Do you know if they are actually going to stock it, or is it going to be another one of those "we'll obstinately keep it as a special order only item, so nobody will accidentally buy it... and oh, also keep all the supporting products like WoF and Declassifieds completely unavailable" routines?

Well Crafty guys contacted them, and we'll know soon enough.
My guess is that it will be a "special order" thing.

Fools. I guess it's becoming more and more the "unfriendly local manga store". Angry

Well there's a store which until recently had some of my respect here in Germany. They had great prices and were really fast. But then suddenly they decided to stop selling Mongoose products, which included dead tree Spycraft.
Now I'm a happy customer of several different gaming stores, even if I have to pay a few euros more.

Lucky you! The one we have is to my knowledge the only proper game store around Helsinki.

On the FC front: my FLGS informed me that they have my order waiting for me. Somehow I have two waiting for me.
Oh, and the store site still lists Fantasy Craft as "not published".

Sorry Nepenthe, the other goes to a friend.

Where are you in Germany, Aragathor? I will (in theory, as I still don't have my orders) be moving to Heidelberg in a couple weeks.

I know for a fact, Aragathor, that MugMug loves him some beer. You'll have to show him a good time.

Okay, maybe not like that. You know what I mean. Pervs.

Ah well, probably a little too far for regular gaming. We could certainly see about occasional gaming one-shots, though (or range time, judging by the blurb under your avatar). Smiley
