Nicely done.
Never really been into Warhammer, although I did pick up one of the editions of WHFRP. They've certainly got their fans though. The most fun I've ever had on a consistent basis in the Warhammer world, have been Space Hulk and Blood Bowl. Hours of fun.

Blood Bowl is pure win. Moreso now that it's effectively free.  Smiley

The new Space Hulk pissed me off to no end.

NO boad game is worth £60 - I could buy three X-Box games from play.com for that much, or two roleplaying core books. They can kiss my ass if i'm going to pay that much for a board game.

Yet I know people who will argue about the number of miniatures you get and tell you that it's value for money. What about those people who don't play SM or 'nids?

And it's a limited edition, so the gamers that don't get in quickly or hear about it two months from now are screwed. That makes me genuinely annoyed.

From what I've seen of the models, only the Terminators are really worth the purchase. The 'stealers really don't measure up. GW's tried to make them look like they were coming out of the walls, but instead they just look goofy.

I'm wondering if, after the LE copies have sold out, GW plans to sell off the license to Fantasy Flight Games. They're already handling a couple of other GW properties, so it would make sense.

If it will turn a profit, GW will probably do just that.

That said, Dark Heresy's first print run sold out on pre-orders alone, yet they dropped it like a hot potato. A lot of what they do is pretty far from making sense...

No, 'cause then he'd have to kill you.... [<-- Top Secret Link.]

Games Workshop made free downloads of the rules for most of their Specialist games. Also on there is Mordheim - a skirmish level game of gang warfare in a fantasy city. I have had a lot of fun with that game over the years. Smiley

There is also this site: http://www.bloodbowlonline.com/Rules.shtml

They have an updated 'living' rulebook with all the latest info. There are also a couple of companies making new miniatures. For legal reasons they're not official Blood Bowl minis, but they do just fine. Plus, they have undead halflings.

No, that's just the undead halflings. They get pretty ripe when the weather turns.

The Auld Grump, undead halfling elevator operator anyone? Tongue
