When should we expect 10kB?

Wink

Actually, I know FC was worth the wait.  And I'm prepared to do the same here.  Just courious if you guys were thinking it was a 2010 release?

Yeah, definitely 2010. Hopefully early 2010. We'll keep you posted.

THIS is the product that originally pushed me over the line into joining this community. To say that I've been happy with all the stuff I've purchased along the way would be an understatement, but I'm really happy to see it on track again. I can only imagine what Alex feels like Smiley

Outside holding a gat under my chin and swearing he'd pull the trigger if 10kB wasn't next, he's been pretty easy going. That, and the twitching eye, though that only seems to come up when I mention hot women, or fast cars, or dingy streets, or anything approaching a modern street epic the likes of which the RPG world has never deserved, let alone seen.

By the time it comes out, would it be fair to say he's spent over half his life on this project? (I'm half joking with this, it's probably closer to a third, but still a significant portion...)

::takes a moment to do the math::

Approaching a quarter, depending on how long he was working on it before we met.

1 quarter.

By the time 10kB is released, it will likely be 9 years old, on its 5th publisher, and its 3rd edition.

I only wish I were kidding.

Oh no! Now you've done it, Aragathor. The entire western coast of the U.S. is about to slide into the ocean courtesy of a cataclysmic earthquake. Tongue

Fortunately, I'm now in the heartland, our publishers are in the UK and printers are spread across the US and Canada. So even if LA cannonballs into the Pacific, we're still covered. It'll just make Empire City that much more fantastical Wink

You mean no one's yet realized that Empire City is actually just Vegas after the Big One hits?

The book would have to be edited by someone else, of course, but who knows? Maybe without me taking a cut of this year's proceeds Alex could afford some big name talent or something.  Tongue

But we don't want big name talent to do it, we want you to do it...
