What exactly do you see the fire brave ability to "ignore size and species while making disguise checks" as representing?  I was thinking something along the lines of the disguise spell from Myth Adventures, except that for some reason the face seen stays recognisable as your character's face somehow.

I was thinking it might work like the disguise spell because you don't actually change in your stats and abilities to those of what you're disguised as (so you remain large, to all other mechanical intents and purposes, even while passing perfectly well for a halfling).  And I thought that the face would stay recognisable because if it didn't, there'd be more of a bonus to disguise.  Alternatively, maybe the face can change, but the eyes and voice stay the same... how would you like us to play this?

Something like change self in AD&D I imagine. Perhaps if you're (for example) kinda short for an ogre  with square features for an ogre and a deep voice even for an ogre
then
when you be come a pech you'll be a pech which is short even for a pech with squareish features  and a deep voice all within the normal range for pechs. Hence your friends recognise you. You also tend toward your suual mannerisms so have to use your disguise skill to downplay these.

How's that for a start?

It could also work, but you'd have to handwave away still being Large for purposes of grappling, tripping, bull rushes, sneaking around, available weapon sizes, base size, and probably other bits and pieces I'm forgetting.  All of these but base size can however be treated as being "more densely packed", I suppose - still just as heavy, powerful, and loud, just condensed into a smaller body somehow.

EDIT: I'm happy with either, really, just interested in what Krensky would prefer.

Maybe we should ask the Crafty boys to explain it?  Evil

Sorry, it's been a long week and a weird morning.

I will answer the questions and concerns and kick things off this evening or tomorrow morning.

fopoy: Probably, although I'm debating giving Obsidian Portal or the Wiki a try for that.

GD: 1. Well, the AP's treat each volume as an adventure. That said, I find D&D adventure modules tend to be much longer and to ignore the three unities more then the published FC modules from Crafty and Reality Blurs. They're also longer then my SC2 adventures. The PF APs tend to break down into three acts, and that's more or less what I plan on using.
2. That would be fine

vardeman: It does say mount, and I think we have enough 'pets' already with two PLs and your AP.

OK, btw, I've decided to switch to Scout for my first base class, I'll post the revised char soon.

V

EDIT:  Changed my mind once again, keeping Soldier for the first base class.  Changed out Prodigal Skill for Animal Partner so I can start out with my wolf.

Ok, characters are up at http://www.crafty-games.com/content/characters

Please, please, please go, look yours over and make sure they survived the copy and paste OK. Also, feel free to update, clean up, whatever the characters.

That said, I'm planning on kicking off tomorrow (the 29th) unless there are any outstanding concerns.

Cleaning up mine. For some reason it's the version without Devilish Heritage, so I'm bringing that up to speed.
Will you be starting a new thread or bumping the old one? And will we use this one for OOC chatter?

edit: Im trying to anyway... the Wiki didnt seem to take any of my changes

Am I the only one who's having trouble editing their character's entry?

Edit: Okay, I've figured out what's going on. It doesn't like me copying and pasting information >.>

I'll probably make new ones.

For the diplomaticly/socially minded, remember that the new cathedral is being sanctified, makes a good reason to be there.
