So suggested links:
Eloise spent some time after her failed wedding at Weoxglyd's place. Weoxgyld was at the wedding in a diplomatic capacity.
Haldar was aboard the longship that carried Weoxgyld to Varsia.
Ok?
any others?

Mr A: Sorry about the delay, but paddyfool largely covered the obvious answers.

That said, a lot depends on how she relates.

Norgober's the god of murder and secrets which might be appealing. The cult of Achaekek ('god' of blood and assisination) might hold some appeal. Pharasma, goddess of death and fate. Brigh is the goddess of clockworks and constructs.

If she's been really pushed over the edge, Groetus (nihilism, end of the world), Gyronna the Hag(spite and discarded women), or even Zon Kuthon (pain, loss, torture, and other cenobitey things).

Don't we have a corsair in the group?  Maybe the ship wasn't a long ship, but it was carrying Weoxgyld and Haldar.  The corsair was in the crew.

Meanwhile, maybe Argan might have met Divia on the road, and offered to travel with her in a protective capacity?

If you meet two kids on the road in rough country with nothing but the clothes on their backs, who maybe look like they've been through some hard times, it's only fair to be a tad concerned.

Sorry to hear that  - so long.  (Looks like I'm the only ogre in the village party now...)

So summary of connections so far:
Currently together, arrived on privateer ship: Weoxgyld, Haldar, Shyla,
Previous meeting Weoxgyld and Eloise.
Recently met on the road and now travelling together: Argan and Divia

I think we are close to being ready to start. Smiley

Pretty much, yep.  Just our party mage/general schmott guy Teo's starting position to decide, assuming no-one has any objections.  Where would you like to begin, GD?

I can go for meeting the group on the road. Common cause against banditry is always a good group builder.  Tongue

Krensky, any official word on this?

V

OK, made some modifications.  How's this look?

Also, if I take Lancer instead of Soldier, does the mount actually have to be a mount?  And does it count towards the prereq for Beastmaster?

Character draft:

Haldar Thorson
Savage Barbarian Soldier 1
Str 15 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 12 Wis 12 Cha 10
Feats: Great Fortitude, Rage Basics, Spear Basics, Prodigal Skill: Sneak

(click to show/hide)

Haldar  is an Ulfen follower of Torag wandering the lands of Varisia in search of fame and fortune.

If someone would be kind enough to check this over and make suggestions, I'd be grateful.

I can totally see this as my character's breaking point with her captain.
