It appears my computer problems have gone away, based on 30 minutes of rock-solid performance (I'm optimistic; what can I say?). I just moved from a hotel to a boardinghouse. I'm going with the theory the power was buggy in the (cheap, Army) hotel; the alternative being something is loose in my laptop and the moving jostled it into place.

The damned thing was almost unusable before, and all based on mouse performance (which, in these post-DOS days, is central to personal computing). The mouse would randomly move and act like the left mouse button was being clicked or held down. Reading email or the forums was possible, though an exercise in frustration. However, when attempting to write either the cursor would relocate, text would randomly highlight (and then be deleted by continued typing), the window would be closed, etc.

Anyway, enough ranting -- on to playing!

Walter

in relavance to where we are any buildings one maight use as a raised positions for archers around?

Pretty much all the buildings around the square are two or thee stories and have pitched roofs and are shut up tight. I'll let you take a one die Perk to find a scalable building with a flattish roof for a vantage point.

I am assuming you mean spend an AD to get that advantage.  If so I will spend it for the group.   Smiley

Question, since our dragon is actually a pc, would full mounted combat rules apply or would riders be considered separate entities.

Full mounted combat rules apply. I believe that was answered in the Q&A thread.

We're not dead folks.

Work was a challenge this past week. I got reassigned from the contract I was working on for the last three years to a different part of the business that I only know in passing.

I'll post an update (or two or three) this weekend, but things may slow down for the next week or two while I adjust to my new job.

I'm sure I'm being dense, but did I just get written out of the game.

My understanding: Chris and I climb to the top of the building to defend the town.

Everyone else goes off into the woods and battles a goblin and his dog. Is the party just seperate and i'm waiting my turn? Is the building moving, and i travel into the woods with them? Are they coming back for us? I'm very confused.

We're not in the woods, we're outside the Inn. I guess you're in a pretty good sniper position.

Hopefully Walter will post today, otherwise I'll have to work around him.

Oh, and before things really get rolling, I feel compelled to point out that these are Mr. A's improved goblins. They might be a bit tougher.

Yes, sorry for not responding. It's doable, I'll need to think where to set it up.
