Note to self:

Magic Missile has always been a good spell. In Fantasy Craft it's a great spell.

That is all.

It definitely is until things start getting heavier armors, since they can eventually block all of the damage.  The Mage in my game leaned on it a bit too much, but Skeleton Pirates wearing Partial Chainmail made him freak out, until he realized that Cure Wounds II was also a REALLY good spell against the undead. Tap...Tap... Finishing off my big bad projects at work today (unless it all goes cataclysmicly wrong) so I'll try my bestest to get this updated tonight.
NB: This fight is more or less finishing off, no more badguys will be appearing in this scene, the adventure has lots of ideas for continuing it, but after near 2 weeks away, I'd rather get thigns moving along than keep it running.

Round IV:
Initiative Count
Kel'Ar(Morganti) - 21
Doubting the wisdom of trying to squeeze past a roaring barbarian, Kel'Ar moves towards the other room which seems to have commotion inside. Throwing open the door (this one isn't locked) to see a Ravener right in front of him.
Jabe(Andersen) - 20
Seeing no immediate threat, Jabe takes a moment to fade to the spirit layer.
Thayden(Foproy) - 19
About to swing his weapn, Thayden is somewhat alarmed as bolts of energy incapacitate both his foes. [GC Assumption] Thayden heads to check upstairs with the others.
Raveners (NPC) - 19
The Ravener in the bedroom growls and launches itself at Kreiger. Attempted Bull Rush, failed. Ravener was knocked back and sprawled. A Second Ravener crawles through the window and tries to attack the terrified woman, though she manages to keep it away for now.
Kel-Ar is attacked by the Ravener's vicious looking jaws, the second blow catches him, but even it's sharpened teeth do nothing against the leather casing of Kel-Ar.
Another Ravener breaks through this window and rushes Kel-Ar, though is fended off.
Roger(Krensky) - 17
Seeing the outside clear, dashes inside, bleeding (2 vitality). Seeing nothing downstairs but hearing commotion upstairs heads up.
Malach(FunkMonkey) - 17
Positions himself Centrally and bathes the Inn in a warm remoralising glow.
Trenevar(jscifert) - 16
Trenevar rushes up and rips one of the Raveners to pieces, a few of those pieces rain down on the folk hiding below.
Draethon(jscifert) - 9
Rushes upstairs to assist.
Tavern Staff/Civilians/Horses (NPC) - 9
Spurred into action, by the actions of the party, the Innkeeper organises people gather the horses and secure the Inn.
Gerald(Daedalus) -  8
Stays ready.
Groot(Andersen) - 5
Keeps watchful for any more of the creatures.
Krieger(Bill Whitmore) - 3
The sprawled being hisses as your axe thuds into it, but it's not stopped moving yet.
And you most certainly get the other one's attention.

Round V:
Initiative Count
Kel'Ar(Morganti) - 21
The first blow unbalances the creature and the second caves in it's skull.
Jabe(Andersen) - 20
Almost one with the mist Jabe scouts for any more of the creatures, though even she finds it unconfortable she's reasonably sure there's no more out there.
Thayden(Foproy) - 19
Thayden slips into the bedroom, and before he even registers with the Ravener, slips his knife between his ribs and sends him to final death.
Raveners (NPC) - 19
The last Ravener jerks to his feet and swipes weakly at Krieger (rolled a 1, but assuming no-ones going to bother activating at this stage).

The room's already a bit crowded so to speed things along I'm going to skip ahead to an attack roll for Krieger

Roger(Krensky) - 17

Malach(FunkMonkey) - 17

Draethon(jscifert) - 9

Tavern Staff/Civilians/Horses (NPC) - 9

Gerald(Daedalus) -  8

Groot(Andersen) - 5

Krieger(Bill Whitmore) - 3
Krieger swings at the final Ravener, misses it, but catches it on the backswing, cleanly taking off it's head.
