Oh, I see the comprehensive definition of trained later in the skill.  I apparently need more sleep or something.  Sorry to trouble you, I'll edit that in my skill list too.

Absolutely no worries. We're here to help. Smiley

In the description of the Tactics skill on page 83, it notes that both the ambush and outmaneuver applications take 1 minute. Is the outmaneuver entry in error? It's only supposed to go off once a scene, and most combats won't last a scene unless a round is a lot longer than I think it is.

On page 233, under the Foes chapter the Everlasting Quality is +0 xp.  If I build an NPC with this quality would this not let me ignore the reputation loss for a follower dying?  Should this quality have a higher xp value?

It's not in error. That check offers an extremely butch and lasting benefit you only gain after engaging an enemy for a while (read: 10 rounds).

Yes, it would. That's why no GM in his right mind should allow that quality on a contact, follower, hireling, or PL. It's there for adversaries, who use the same rules. Wink

When I was seeking to abuse stress-testing the Personal Lieutenant feat I ran across that same question. My take, even in my (atypical) role as abusive player, was the reputation loss would still occur. The quality "returns [the NPC] to life," it doesn't prevent him from dying. Since your PL is replaced in the next adventure anyway, this quality is simply a flavor issue (i.e. the same PL returns, rather than a replacement).

Both Hill-born and Lava-born grant Explorer as an iconic class.  Should Lava-born grant Scout like OoTS:Classic Fantasy?

It's a little thing, a typo, but if you're gonna get it right.

p.389 - Licences
Title at the top of the page reads "Worlds", surely that isn't really right.

Though not really errata - we did actually intend those as written - Alex and I are leaning toward making this change.

Query, why does the feral NPC quality actually cost XP? All it allows the NPC to do is to become enraged, which confers no bonus and might make them attack allies?

It's a minor thing but it adds to the complexity and unpredictability of the encounter.

Well, if you go with a different definition of steel (ie. to embolden or support), then it could work... though I doubt that was what's intended.
