I came across this today--it's called a whip, but it's more of a flexible club (go ahead and google it--there's plenty of video and such out there on it).

What mechanic do y'all suppose could apply to this thing? Is there a Spycraft analogue here, or is it just too obscure? 'Cuz it sure looks wicked.  Smiley

Staff, short.
Replace TRP with CMP and RGD.

Looking at the videos you could also possibly use it as an improvised garotte.

First of all I don't agree that it's a short staff, the sjambok is a peculiar weapon but it's mode of use is closer to a flexible club than to a staff.
Additionaly, comparing Staff Basics and Club Basics it's quite clear that the Sjambok isn't a staff  Wink.

I would say that using the Sjambok as a light club is the way to go, without any extra qualities.
