Mainly it's that Boondock saints has such a cult following, is such an amazing gamer movie, and seems so perfect for the genre.  The whole sequence with the rope just screams out gamer...anyway it's one of my favorite modern movies of the genre, conspciuous by it's absence.

Boondock Saints is a nice mix of "espionage" and gangsters.

Maybe I don't understand what 10kb Is. Not because of what's on the list, but because of what isn't.

Unfortunately, no one can be told what 10kb is. You have to see it yourself.

And yes, to me, THAT movie applies, too.

And now I need to go watch Romeo Must Die. THANKS A LOT!!  Angry

I would suggest Beverly Hills Cop (all three) to the list. Sure, not everyone likes Eddie Murphy, but they're fun cop films.

How about Chinatown?
Or Falling Down?

To think on it a bit, Chuck Norris had a similar run.
The Octagon and Code of Silence.

Yes, Bogie can be very good. Even Maltese Falcon has some tension, though it feels very dated. Casablanca still holds up very well.

I am not really a Street film fan, but....
The Naked City (There's a million stories in this naked city....)
Gangs of New York (We're not a gang! We're an army!)
The Outsiders (Dated, so very dated....)

Same title but different cast, story, location (New Orleans post-Katrina mostly) and still solid production values
