If I can find time, I'd like to run one of the Pathfinder APs with FC. There's also my modern fantasy thing I've mentioned a few times. I'll need to put something up about that at some point, I suppose.
I managed to run a half-fantasy game in Spycraft by virtue of Spellbound and Origin of the Species and improvising in between, turned out pretty fun, I'd be interested to hear about yours.
Well, one issue that has me wary of posting stuff here about it is my desire to maintain control of the IP and copyright. Not that I believe Craft will steal it, just that I do not wish to unnecessarily complicate the ownership. At some point, I will probably post more detailed information information on a venue I can link to from here.
That said, it's a modern setting in the way that historians use the term modern. It's an amalgam of 17th through 19th centuries with some anachronistic elements. I also contains 'bright' steam punk (all brass, no soot as it were), a good bit of diesel punk, some sensibilities lifted from console RPGs, magic, guns, swords (and the Gladiator quality), and airships. The original home game it started as coalesced after a weekend watching some of the Sharpe and Hornblower movies, two of The Pirates of the Caribbean movies, about two thirds of Last Exile, some Wild, Wild West, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and some Scarlet Pimpernel and Three Musketeers and playing some Final Fantasy VI and Xenogears.
As it evolved, some other things that provided inspiration included Niven's The State series, Chalker's Well World series, Xenosaga, Niven/Pournell/Barnes's Heorot series, Bradley's Darkover, Ringo's Council War series, Scrapped Princess, Miyazaki (particularly Castle in the Sky and Valley of the Winds) and a bunch of other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.
