Spoilers enabled for your forum games!
« on: July 20, 2007, 11:20:44 AM »
Hey gang! By popular request, we have added a Spoiler Tag module to the forums for your games. To use a spoiler, use the following formatting:

Code: [Select]
*
Drops spoiled text under a dynamic link called "Spoiler" in the post, which opens when you click it.
*
Drops spoiled text under a dynamic link called "Spoiler: Title" in the post, which opens when you click it.
*
closes the spoiled text.

The spoiler="title" tag is quite useful if you want to drop spoiler text for particular players or label your spoilers as Out of Character info or provide notations. Good gaming!

It was working, but I was reminded I should probably include a note for players here in the forum we installed the module for :)

Now, this is just nitpicking, but... any chance you could change it from blue text link to an actual button? Most other forums use buttons to open/close spoiler boxes, but if you really need an example, check out the ones on EnWorld.

Again, no, because I'd have to to hack the editor as far as I can tell, which is outside my skillset. Sorry :(

I'm sure I'm going to keep typing Sblock rather than Spolier, since the only other place I've used spoilertags is ENWorld.

So put more ranks in it next time you level up! :P

Computers is a cross-class skill for me, and my Intelligence modifier is not so good ;)

His Wisdom's kinda shaky, too, and he's pretty frail, but his Charisma's pretty sweet.

What? You thought we kept him around for his dead lifting and juggling ability?

I like the fact that the spoiler tag works with images as well as text - not always the case. :)

THe internet is a cross-class skill for me. When I went to high school I saw a micro-bee once. Have cut and pasted the first post into a word document. (others in my pbp can breath a sigh of relief)
