Hey there!
I was wondering if anyone had some clarification on some abilities of the Martial Artist and the Raptor. For the Martial Artist, I am wondering how the Master's Touch is supposed to work. I know it allows you to do two tricks in an action, but does the person need to possess the other "Basic" or "Move" feat that they are taking the trick from? Is the choice of which trick to add to a different specific feat have to be made at Level 10 (or 20) and remain unchanged (or can you change the choice at every action)?
Master's Touch essentially is about letting a Martial Artist create his own style by combining what he knows in new ways. It lets you add 2 tricks to an attack, but you MUST possess those tricks from feats already! It doesn't allow a player to circumvent the need for Unarmed/Melee combat feats - that would sort of defeat the purpose

However, the combination of tricks you
do apply can be different every time you use the ability.
My next question is that the Errata for the Martial Arts Feat says that it increases the damage "to 1d6", not "+1d6". However, a simple Unarmed Proficiency increases damage "to 1d6". Does this mean that Martial Arts does no additional damage?
Proficient unarmed damage has also been errataed to 1d4 lethal (from 1d6). Martial Arts pulls your proficient damage up from 1d4 to 1d6 (and adds the amazing ability to choose whatever attribute bonus you want).
My Raptor Question concerns the Armor Grace ability (Level 6). It says that if wearing Partial Armor, that the Defense Modifier increases by starting action dice. Does this refer to the Armor's Defense Penalty?
Yes.
Can it increase the Defense Penalty into a positive bonus?
Considering a character would get it at his 11th Career Level, and it doesn't say "reduce" the penalty, I would say yes. This ability is similar to Armor Use, which can also increase a Soldier's Defense when he's wearing armor (cause Soldiers are cool like that)
Thanks for any help concerning these questions!
