Wait, if Fantasy Craft = Dark Side of the Moon, does that make 10,000 Bullets = The Wall?

I'm just happy to see people posting in the FC forum again.  It was dead for a couple weeks there and I was starting to worry.

My campaign is ready to roll, now I just gotta wait on crunch to send it off.  *baited breath*

Actually more Steampunk Airship vs Giant Monster stuff or magitech motorcycle races (think Final Fantasy 7 style).  My players wanted to start small, while I wanted to start big.  So there's gonna be some major ramping up once we get a feel for it.

If they let me, there are probably gonna be a few submarine chase scenes too.  There's never enough cool stuff going on at the bottom of the sea.

Hrm, Gillweed... Now, we just make it addictive.  Gillweed addicts chasing the royal submarine, attempting to make the princess an addict, so that Gillweed is legal, if not mandatory.

If their demands are met, the kingdom loses.  If they gain the princess long enough to addict her, the kingdom loses.  Help us, Frogman Force, you are the kingdom's only hope!

Yeah, not enough going on in the seabed.

I was more thinking:

While the party explores the depths they come across a undersea oasis for giant sea reptiles and then are promptly chased by a giant Kronosaur or Megalodon.  Or perhaps even sent on a mission to catch a bunch of these prehistoric sea monsters for a giant ass aquarium and the players get to act as bait to lure them into big capture nets.

You might want to check the Signs & Portents 71...

Fantasy Craft is listed on the August releases!

Quote from: S&P 71
If you are attending Gen Con this year, be sure to swing by Mongoose’s booth (421) and say hello! Crewed by Rob, Kelly and Matthew, they will all be delighted to greet you (Kelly, especially, just loves to hear character stories - ask for her in particular). We will, of course, have a whole slew of new of books waiting for you, including Judge Dredd (pictured), Paranoia (be quick if you want the limited Black Missions edition, as we expect them to disappear on the first day), Fantasycraft (yes, it exists!), Golden Age Starships, Earthdawn and much more!

My emphasis.

Fantasycraft will be at GenCon? DAMNIT! If only I knew 8 months ago, I would have got a job, made enough money to go, and earned some vacation time by now! Wait...

I guess I'll just have to wait a few more weeks... (I've waited this long, what's another month or three?)

There will be more news on this as we can be certain. Consider your source before assuming it's a done deal Smiley

This is Rumor Control. Here are the Facts...

- We do not yet KNOW whether the book will be at GenCon. There is a chance but it's entirely in the printer's hands at this point. I've personally confirmed this since that issue went out.

- The statement in S&P refers to the fact that, even if the books aren't available at the show, Mongoose will be taking orders there for immediate delivery when the books come in (no later than a week or two after the show).

- Expect two major updates on Fantasy Craft before the show - one late this week and one early next.

That is all (for now). Smiley
