On a new note;

Will FantasyCraft will follow the "PDF a month after dead tree" policy?

The opposite, in fact.

PDF's before the dead tree? Nifty.

None. The PDF will not be released until one month before dead tree release.

To put things into perspective here: They haven't finished writing the book yet. When they've finished writing everything (which is hopefully soon), they'll ship it off to the printers. Can't be arsed to find the topic, but it was mentioned in a thread a little while ago that the printing process would likely take 3 months or so from handing in the finished draft until they can start shipping product. Putting those two together, if they finished writing the book tomorrow, it'll still be at least two months before they can release the PDF. Conclusion: Gotta be patient a little while longer.

I'm guessing on or around the 4th of July. Tail end of Origins but before GenCon.

Do they do it with sharp sticks? 'Cause I have some! Wink

Seriously though, I just turned over a completely polished draft of Chapter 6 (Foes) to Alex, so all we have left is Worlds. The end is indeed...

Depends.  Do you consider a USMC major (who's an aide to a 2 Star USN Admiral) a sharp stick?  Every time I'm close to a deadline for a report... or her command is 'top for action' on something on my desk.. I know I'll have him pacing my office 4 times a day... (more if it's something they 'really' need...)

And, sadly, they don't respond well to:

"The more you bug me, the longer it will take."

Do they?

Noooo.  Not so much.  Typically.. the more smart ass I get.. the more brass is in my office pacing.  Example.  One time I was working on something relating to a NJP issue... and they kept hounding me every 15 minutes.  So.. I finally answered my phone with an asian accent asking them for their food order?  No more than 2 minutes later... the phone calls became personal visits...

You need to get one of those USB nerf missile launchers and hook it up to a motion sensor aimed at your office door.
